Except for Donald "War Criminal" Rumsfeld: he doesn't do email or text message, just unidirectional hand-written "snowflakes."

That could be. I know a priest who was a student of Father Professor Ratzinger's back when theology was a reputable topic for progressive young men to study. 45 years later, I'm 2 degrees of separation from the Holy Rat. I'm another 2 degrees of separation from the Dalai Lama whose older brother was a professor of my acquaintance when I was a graduate student. All those professional holy men and I have to clean my own home, cook my own meals, and do my own landscaping. Where did I go wrong?

So how far removed is John "I'm aware of the internets" McCain from everyone else on the planet?

I guess I don't exist online at all, since I'm ancient enough to hate text messaging and I live only as email and comment and message board and usenet posts.
