I'm co-chair of the Democratic Party in Delaware County, Oklahoma. We border Arkansas, and I'd like everyone to pray for Arkansas State Chairman Bill Gwatney.
He was just shot at Democratic Party headquarters in Little Rock. Seems a gunman entered the building and shot him, and Mr. Gwatney is in critical condition.
I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I can't but help its another gun totin', Dubya lovin' Republican terrorist who shot him.

I guess Democrats need to start wearing bullet proof vests. How can Republicans keep saying we haven't had any terrorist attacks since 9/11 when every time we
turn around another Republican extremist terrorist commits a terrorist act. Again, I haven't been told its a Republican but I can't help but just jump to the obvious
conclusion. If I'm wrong, its simply because I've been conditioned to think, "Oh boy, we got another Army anthrax doctor, or Republican Tim McVeigh on the loose!"

I have been dreading this time in America....the Unitarians and now this. God help us all. Is Obama wearing a flack vest? If not he should be.
Special thanks to Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly et alia for our new nation.

This is also the Bush Administration's fault. They have done absolutely NOTHING to distance themselves from hate radio.
    They have embraced it totally!

    ----

    Or start carrying guns themselves.

I guess Supreme Court Judge Antonin Scalia can send a "Get Well" card to Arkansas State Chairman Bill Gwatney that reads, "Just get over it!"

Remember back before 2000 when Republicans didn't shoot Democrats, and the enemy wasn't our fellow Americans? Boy, thats changed in eight
short years, huh? Thanks to that wonderful decision by Antonin Scalia and friends to seat the most divisive and arrogant administration in American history!

"Karen Ray, executive director of the Republican Party of Arkansas, sent her workers home early "out of an abundance of caution."

"Our hearts go out to everyone at the Democratic headquarters. What a tragedy," Ray said. "This is just a very upsetting, troubling and scary thing for our staff as well."

Oh, puh-lease. As if Republicans are being targetted. Yea, all the Republicans want to play the victim now?

is it possible to tell us what city or town in these districts so we can identify the area that the democrats are winning. thanks the average person does not know any districts outside their own state. it would be a help. if possible.

The biggest city in district 2 is Boulder, but the district extends west into Grand, Summit and Eagle Counties. It's basically a mix of ski towns like Vail and Breckenridge ,and liberal front range towns like Boulder. It is Colorado's bluest district. The only way a Republican can win this district is by assassinating the Democratic candidate on the day before the election. And that probably wouldn't even work.
