Wait, wasn't this for another campaign years ago? The Obama logo on the girls shirt is obviously added in digitally.

JimOlson: This is the infamous ad that introduced Apple computers to the world in 1984. It has been altered by someone to support Obama. I think they did an amazing job. Also, I've always loved your work with Superman.

Yeah, I got the original reference, but I am sure I have seen this as an ad against Hillary more than a year ago.

I am an independent voter. I have not yet decided to vote Republican or Democrat in November.
But one thing is for certain -- either of the Democratic candidates is acceptable to me, if I do decide to vote Democratic.
I don't understand this constant, vicious trashing of Hillary Clinton.

GrahamCrackerDC,
Most people here voted for Bill Clinton. Most of us decided not to vote for Hillary Clinton after she lied about regretting her vote for the Iraq war, but then turned around and voted for a similar Iran resolution. Her recent DINO-neocon threat to "obliterate" Iran has made her unvoteable to most Democrats and Independents. Hillary is trying to win the nomination of the wrong party. Obama is the only Democrat left in the race. Clinton is a quasi-Republican using a Lieberman strategy to usurp the party and give voters no choice in November.

Dear GrahamCrackerDC---Two thirds of the people in America say that Hillary has been much nastier in her negative attacks than Obama or anyone else. She tells lies without end and takes a long time to own up even when she's caught red handed at it on video. She's been mean and as a consequence, lots of people feel anger toward her. Her negativity and dishonesty are the reasons why her unfavorable ratings are much higher then her anemic favorable ratings. Nobody did this to her. Hillary earned the way people feel about her by her own words and actions. It isn't pretty, but she does seem to be reaping what she sowed.

(CBS) From CBS News' Fernando Suarez:
RALEIGH, N.C. -- During the annual North Carolina Democratic Party's Jefferson Jackson Dinner tonight, Hillary Clinton said she will not only back Barack Obama if he is the party’s nominee, she will work hard for him.
“If Senator Obama is the nominee, you better believe I’ll work my heart out for him,” Clinton said.
The comment seemed to backfire, as the large Obama presence began chanting his name, "causing Clinton to pause and try to regain control of the podium and talk over the chants.
She immediately followed up saying if she is the nominee, Obama “will do the very same for me.” It is unclear if that line was part of her original speech or if she used it as a way to bounce back from the interruption.
The crowd of 5,200 people seemed relatively split between Clinton and Obama supporters, but Obama’s crowd was certainly more vocal.........................
I think you should take this off your website. It could be interpreted as a threat. please - the voice of experience...

This could also be interpreted as sarcastic humor. Smashing a television screen doesn't hurt any thing but TV ratings--and boy would I like to see Bill O get some of his screens smashed.

Of course, you're right kerala. A semiotician would say that an image of a woman's face on a screen is not a woman. I was more concerned that violence toward the image could be misinterpreted as condoning violence toward the person depicted.

I see that your points are in the strong negatives. If negative points on this site are a badge of honour, have I been pushing your buttons in the wrong direction?
OMG, I don't mean to be unfeeling because I do feel terrible about this, but Eight Belles, the only filly in the Kentucky Derby was euthanized on the track. She had two broken ankles.. I feel terrible for the horse BUT I just have to say this, isn't this the horse Senator Clinton was saying to bet on?

Media Downplay Hawaii Uprising, Back Hawaiian Apartheid Bill Photo of Matthew Vadum. By Matthew Vadum | May 2, 2008 - 20:17 ET
A real-life secessionist movement seizes a historic American landmark and major media outlets treat the uprising as a curiosity of mere passing interest. Meanwhile, that same media gives a thumbs-up to a seditious, balkanizing plan for Aloha State apartheid.
AP's Mark Niesse reported yesterday, "Native Hawaiian sovereignty advocates" who are members of the group known as the Hawaiian Kingdom Government occupied the grounds of the palace of Hawaii's final monarch, Queen Lili`uokalani. "Hawaiian activists have long used the palace as the site for protests of what they call the United States' occupation of the islands, but never before had they physically taken control," wrote Niesse. http://newsbusters.org/blogs/matthew-vadum/2008...

Nigel...thanks for the link....I saw Moyers last nite on PBS.....he also said that what white preachers say seems to be okay(i.e. Hagee, Falwell, etc)....but when a black preacher speaks out....as Wright has....the media goes beserk.

Hi Grandma,
Frank Rich's column in tomorrow's NYT addresses that hypocrisy. It's going to be interesting. Keith Olbermann is great but MSNBC sucks. Abrams hosted a whole hour on Wright yesterday. That was so irresponsible. Without an informed public, "democracy" won't survive. :-(

Clinton is simply setting the stage for her 2012 run. She will damage Obama in every possible way and appears to be willing to damage the Democratic Party as well, in an effort to handicap Obama's ability to deliver on his program once in office. She is the Everready Bunny she just keeps beating her own drum.
I love this video! It really shows what an evil (almost Darth Vader-like) troll Shillary is. Another funny one is the people who reacted to her absurd 70's style hokie commercial. Writer Andrew Sullivan and journalist Matthew Drudge featured it a few months ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GOFrbDAhUU

He seemed appreciative.

Nigel, you da link GetMan. The Moyers one is wonderful. Thank you for all the great stuff you bring to these threads.
Cpeterka, good news, altho disheartening that the tally was so close. Just remember that conservatives of the Limbaugh persuasion are changing their registration to vote in the primaries for the candidate they know they can beat in Nov. Disgusting move on their part, but they are right to believe this.
