Good job on your blog jurassicpork - always enjoy passing through. Nowadays its hard to criticize, eh? We lost the moral high ground under the rePigs. What's worse, blocking Twitter or slaughtering and torturing hundreds of thousands of innocents?
Thanks rePigs for trashing our reputation - what was left of it anyway.

Obama should let Hillary do the criticizing of China's tyranny against their people because Obama thinks it's cool to illegally wiretap it's citizens, by voting to make it legal under FISA Bill.

The dude facing the tank dies a few seconds after this shot was taken when he gets ran over by tank. While good theatre as a still shot, but ignores the fact that dude vs tank the tank wins.

Right now, I'd say we need China to SERIOUSLY apply pressure on North Korea. It would be a good time for one of their: "you will not" threats, with troop movements to the boarder. Anything else would indicate their insincerity in preventing nuclear proliferation, as well as war on the Korean peninsula. Both of which could lead to nuclear war with China and likely the end of the world.
Doing this, would go a long way in helping the world forget Tiananmen Square.

let me agree with this in part. my hubby and i talk about the korea situation a lot because he served in south korea during his army days. he is also of the opinion that russia and china are the ones who need to be putting pressure on the north korean government. his take is that the chinese let kim jong-il to play his little games because it's a metaphorical poke in the eye towards the US, in a tit for tat over taiwan. it's such a messy situation, but yea, if china actually stepped up it would go a long way towards righting the wrongs...

I thought perhaps China was getting closer to democracy in little baby steps but things like today's banning of media and things like the Olympics just show that maybe they aren't progressing much at all. This video poses that same question: http://www.newsy.com/videos/tiananmen_s_taboo_t...
When will freedom of speech take place in China. I feel for all those that lost their lives in the massacre because it's something nobody in America feels the impact of.
In other news, Hal Turner finally got arrested last night. A damned good thing but far too late as far as I'm concerned.
