And Union Station is back in the news. From a Wapo letter to the editor: "I went to the nearest security guard to report the apparent theft, and he promptly retrieved my "stolen" bike. As it turned out, my bike had been judged to be "unsightly" by Union Station standards and had been impounded. They had cut the lock and confiscated the machine, obviously without bothering to verify whether it was abandoned or just a little beat up. "
So are there unbiased witnesses to Cindy McCain having her hand shaken overenthusiastically by a McCain admirer--or did Johnny Mac's temper explode again?
What about the murder of the Chair of the Arkansas Democratic Party? I am disappointed at the lack of commentary, which is uncharacteristic of Americablog.
It appears he was murdered by a former employee of one of his car dealerships. This is one of a number of murders that have been committed by distraught unemployed white males with access to guns. Another pathetic commentary on the subservience of the political class to the gun lobby

Democrats are very critical of Nader’s claim that there is no real difference between the Democrats and Republicans. Something that has bothered me greatly since the Democrats have taken the majority in Congress is that haven’t they done anything at all about Republican election fraud, especially the easiest and most blatant of all, electronic voting, Diebold and the lack of a papertrail. Maybe someone else has an explanation, but the answer that occurs to me is the reason Democrats haven’t worried about voter fraud nor the entire Republican agenda is that they don’t care because Nader is right, they support that agenda and are Democrats in name only, secretly carry Republican membership cards in their wallets. There is no difference between the two parties.

Slight correction: John McCain has always been this nasty, he didn't just become this way and the media always knew, they just looked the other way because he's an easy "in" and the one thing journalists like is to say they have a contact/friend on the inside.
