Cindy---terrible,terrible speaker. Uh, phony comes to mind
  • GardenHead · 1 year ago
Phony, and she seems to have doubled down on her meds before hitting the podium!
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Does Vicoden make a person go bald?
  • Fireblazes(cheetohsandcatfood) · 1 year ago
No that would be McCain grabbing her by the hair and demanding: Who's your Daddy!
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
Hey, leave her alone....at least she does not plaster on the makeup like a trollop you c*nt......
  • GardenHead · 1 year ago
Only if it is stolen from the relief organization that it is supposed to go to.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
    LOL
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Damn! Just noticed, she does have very thin hair
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
Balimea....(sp) Makes you lose your hair....seriously...it does.
  • FunMe · 1 year ago
THAT explains the glitter in her eyes!
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
Goes to show, you can wear 300 grand worth of crap, and it's still putting lipstick on a pig......
  • Jessica54 · 1 year ago
Cindy's speech is a snooze fest. She doesn't have any energy or enthusiasm.
  • DastiusKrazitauc · 1 year ago
She seemed slow and slurry to me, like she was orating under the influence.
  • Webster · 1 year ago
Not to mention she looks like an over-surgeried harridan.
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Dear God...Is Cindy McCain a freakin sight or what???
I've seen those little plastic trolls with nicer hair.

Palin packs a pistol? Like, in her purse while on-duty in Juneau? To break up fights at hockey games?
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Caribou Agnew's working the winks and the scrunchy-face overtime...This crap will get super old super fast.
  • GardenHead · 1 year ago
When asked about his sons by TIME magazine, John said, "We do not discuss our sons." BUT Cindy can discuss THEIR sons in a SPEECH, guess that way there is no chance for Mcsame's evil liberal media base to ask any followups.
  • FNReedie · 1 year ago
Palin is the perfect Republican story. Anyone can do the job in Washington if you believe that government is meant to fail. It's the Bush story all over again. You don't want someone smart and Harvard educated. You want someone who can shoot a moose. The Republicans do not believe in education, experience, laws. All that matters is you can squeeze the trigger of a gun.
  • astroflex · 1 year ago
I wonder if she walked in Bangadlesh with those pearls she is wearing.
  • unrepentant_expat · 1 year ago
She had the same security John had in Baghdad
  • FunMe · 1 year ago
What'swrong with Cindy McDruggie. She's staring at the camera. She's scary looking!

Her neck and hair are getting to me.

HOW MUCH is her dress worth? And check out her pearls!
National Enquiring minds want to know!

Cindy McDruggie for Student Council Secretary!
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
......."you willl drink the coolaid......You will drink the coolaid......"
  • rexkc · 1 year ago
Well, I agree with McCain on one thing. She really does look like a trollop.
  • naschkatzehussein · 1 year ago
Rode hard and hung out wet to dry. I was censored on HuffPo for saying that so I want to see if they will keep it here.
  • moreleesafer · 1 year ago
i second it. she looks tack as hell
  • astroflex · 1 year ago
I think her fake eyelashes match the only black person in the convention...Ernestine. Is she from Africa or Vietnam.
  • Chris From Maine · 1 year ago
how much did Cindy's botox/face lift cost?

I'm sure it was a lot more then that hairstyle. God thats awful.. looks like she brushed her hair with a weed whacker.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
She has looked horrible each evening. Must be one of those socialite thing.
  • Fireblazes(cheetohsandcatfood) · 1 year ago
Crooks and Liars has a good take on what Princess Cindy's designer outfit cost.

  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
see what happens when you piss off the queens..... bad hair.
  • martha · 1 year ago
Cindy is a saint for going for a week to Rwanda, but being a community organizer in the neighborhoods of Chicago -that should be ridiculed.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Excuse me, organize a neighborhood community to do what?
  • devis1 · 1 year ago
That your even asking the question is pathetic busboy. Why do repugs only pat themselves for oversea charity (bible toting all the way) but are blind to the poor in this country???
  • martha · 1 year ago
Thank you devis1. I couldn't have said it better.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
What are you thanking devis for? He never answered the question....
  • devis1 · 1 year ago
    I be a she!
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Well, I hope you're as good looking as you are feisty.....
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
    you really suck.
    and you're not funny.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
luv ya, tls; and enjoy most of your comments. You definitely do not suck.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
the fucking steel plant closed, and people needed help.
    you GOPers are such tight-asses.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
I guess I missed the part about the steel mill. Nucor is re-opening a steel mill in Arizona and building a new one in Louisiana. They need people right now. If you're a steelworker out of work? That's where the action is. They don't have a union, but, their bonuses (as told to me) are in excess of 10 grand a year for their runofthemillrun workers.
  • Wild_Weasel · 1 year ago
Bus boy, you're just an errand boy for the Neocons.

Have you ever witnessed what a community organizer does? Have you ever walked among the disadvantaged who need the help of an advocate and organizer.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Of course! Why else do you think I'm here?
I wish Rush had never assigned me to this blog. However, I must admit that I've had some limited successes.
  • phalamir · 1 year ago
OKay, whats the over/under on McCain using the phrase "uppity Negra" tonight?
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
I'm watching, looks like she hasn't flinched yet. But, you never know, she may have her divorce atty on speed dial.... OOPS, she just quit. Funny, she doesn't strike me as a weak sister....
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
7 minutes of a McCain video? Not much happens in a 2 by 3 cell in 7 minutes.....
  • Fireblazes(cheetohsandcatfood) · 1 year ago
Not much happens in a 2" x 3" closed mind in 40 years either.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
On a lighter note.....Let's just re evaluate how poor the set (or lack there of) is. I get it, it's minimalist. However that moving background is so distracting....very very bad. And the women in the audience when they pan out, I feel like I am in a time warp.....any minute now Pat Nixon will come stumbling out drunk. God these people need a makeover..... Once you piss off the queens, look what happens. Poor production values is a terrible thing...... :-(
  • Indigo · 1 year ago
All that and more. It's pathetic like a Moose Lodge hall on a Saturday afternoon. It isn't just that the social x-rays are walking around drunk, it's that they aren't quite grounded in being drunk because of the valium trance. Sad. Well, not really because I take considerable satisfaction in seeing what a taudry set of scoundrels they are. I wouldn't do a makeover on any one of them, they're perfect as squalid early 21st century leeches. We need an Orozco to paint them as they part-ay.
  • devlzadvocate · 1 year ago
Flinch? Her face can't move. You know there's a picture somewhere of her with a needle sticking out of her forehead.
  • unrepentant_expat · 1 year ago
You don't see the word 'Republican' anywhere, 'guess it's been replaced with swastikas.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
    ..Or BUSH
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Well, she sure isn't the warm and fuzzy type
  • Busboy · 1 year ago

  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
I 'll give you a break, just name where arm, leg, hip?? :)
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
You're much too eager to please......

How many Republicans does it take to have an orgasm?
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
    NONE...cuz republicans make you flacid.

  • Busboy · 1 year ago
That's old news; before my conversion...
  • Bose · 1 year ago
Straight talk, except about Cindy's daddy being married to somebody else when he met her mommy. Pointing out John & Cindy's first lies (about their ages) but not that he was already married, and would remain so for many months. Selling her role in her non-profit, but not its erratic performance and the ease with which she manipulated it and stole from it during her addiction.

Oh, wait... she had an addiction? Who would have guessed?
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Somewhere there is a murder surrounding the building of that distributership. Got to look that up but from what someone else said, it wasn't pretty.
  • FunMe · 1 year ago
That's not nice. What are you trying to say about Cindy McDruggie?
  • Bose · 1 year ago
You're right... I must have been thinking of some other addict.
  • mr723 · 1 year ago
I love the fact that they are playing "classic rock" aka "oldies." LMFAO!
  • GardenHead · 1 year ago
Drill Baby Drill? Are you kidding me? I'll agree to domestic drilling ONLY if the GOP as a whole agrees to take the money and spend it on dancing lessons!
  • mr723 · 1 year ago
They only allow straight white people at the RNC, didn't you get the memo?
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Sounds like "drill, baby, drill may be the election.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
Does anyone else think it odd that people would chant drill baby drill???? Very bizarre.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Sounds great out here in flyover country. Some of us drive over a hundred miles to work every day...
  • SoLeftImRight · 1 year ago
That's your problem. Move closer to work, get a fuel efficient car, or take public transportation. I spend less than the cost of two tanks of gas to travel anywhere I want in my city by subway or bus for an entire month.

Leave it to drone Republicans to come up with a chant for something that will cause environmental destruction, yet won't affect the supply or price of gasoline until some time in Obama's second term, if at all.
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
The work location changes every day. You need some basic education on what people do for a living in flyover country and on the oil and gas business..

    Just like the republiCONs!
  • devlzadvocate · 1 year ago
How many times do I have to hear this story? I was raised Catholic and didn't hear the Baby Jesus story this much.

    It just wasn't airbrushed before.

    I'm guessing over 10.

Only AFTER she had a terrible accident that her partially paralyzed.

I mean, Johnnie needed his playtime, ya know.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Oh yeah, Bridgette the daughter he kept out of public eye in his last bid for president
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
I wonder if they plan on doing a Special on his time in prison. Now what would it be called?
  • FunMe · 1 year ago
Wait a second. The video just said that Cindy met Mother Theresa in Banladesh.
I thought Cindy McDruggie never met Mother Theresa.

Meanwhile, McCrazyCain - the years have NOT been kind to him.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
I think she may have met her.

But Mother Theresa didn't beg her to take a child, which was the lie Cindy was telling.

She got the kid some other time.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
They're trying to McCain into a Passion of Christ-like figure.

It's obvious: "He was crucified and rose to save our nation."

So easy to read through the messaging.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Okay, I think he has finally played the POW card one too many times.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
My dear, this is JUST the beginning...
  • SoLeftImRight · 1 year ago
POW or "when you've lived in a box" = DRINK!

His teeth look like dinosaurs. and the republicons faces need astringent...too greasy.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    Sick old man.

    Sick inside and out.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
I really hate to say this, but I am getting that John Kerry feeling about Obama bout now. The GOP plays the lowest form of politics ever and where's Obama? I'm afraid he wants to keep things all above board, but you can't play that game if the opponents are playing a different game.

How many more times will he compliment McCain on his war time antics?

    Taxi!
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Yeah, I'm sick of that too.

The idiot crashed five plans, killed 100 of his crew members and only wound up in prison because he ignored his plane's warning system.

    He's a loser.
  • RossTory · 1 year ago
Just chill. Let the republicans have their night.
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
I'm speaking about the Democrats, NOT the GOP.
  • gregwire · 1 year ago
dammit it was grass, I thought the green screen was back
  • Chris From Maine · 1 year ago
McCain is a walking corpse. It is very sad that the Republicans chose a man on death's door, and his replacement is a woman who has absolutely no experience and is a danger to us all.

    They truly are reckless.

  • FNReedie · 1 year ago
I will never understand the logic that Bush has protected us from all of these attacks. I think whomever wins in the fall needs to say, I'm going to protect you from Alien invasion, and then on a monthly basis -- without any facts at all -- say how he's protected us. Its such a joke. FEAR FEAR FEAR.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
Wanna bet the guy protesting standing in the back IS a Vet?...and that's why they didn't kick him out.
  • mr723 · 1 year ago

McCain's impossible to repress sardonic smirk that shows up when says something he doesn't really mean was quite evident when he mentioned Cindy as his inspiration.

I am not watching. I am tired of the vacuous newspeak. I am revolted by the craven belief that the voters will fall for this bull****. I despair because the country I love is now controlled by mass media messages. People I know and love will actually vote for McCain/Palin, and no amount of reason or morality or revelation I raise will make them vote otherwise. Our country is on the short path to obsolescence.

  • FNReedie · 1 year ago
I'd say that's a red herring. The issue isn't that 95% of blacks may vote for Obama. The issue is that ONLY whites are represented by McCain -- while Obama's contingency is supported by an extremely diverse group of backers. If Obama ONLY had blacks supporting him, it would be on the table as an issue ... but that is not the case.

If fact, odds are that any oil drilled is Alaska or off the coasts will be sold to China or Japan before it is used domestically. Oil is a traded commodity -- so reguardless of where it is produced, the price is set by the markets -- unless, of course, you nationalize oil production... Are people stupid?

"Joe @ 11:00 PM: What does this line mean?: "I fell in love with my country when I was a prisoner in someone else's." Did he really not love his country before that? Sure sounds that way. Most Americans I know love their country. A lot. Even without being a prisoner in someone else's."

That line was meant to neutralize the fallout from the FACT being reported he said he didn't love his country before his capture in Viet Nam. He is trying to make it sound deliberate because that fact is very damaging when they had it in for taking Michelle Obama out of context about being proud of America.
