So: how far and how long will her Poaching Obama (Super)Delegates Scorched Earth Campaign go on?

I'm trying not to hate the Clintons - hate is bad for one's karma - but they're making it difficult.

And if you don't have any reference to Bette Davis, stay out of this thread.

Hush, hush sweet Hillary... (for Ed)
I'm excited that this craziness is almost over and we can get on with it!

Bette Davis? Okay, these two Davis quotes apply: (This one to Hillary) "A sure way to lose happiness, I found, is to want it at the expense of everything else." (This one to Bill)" An affair now and then is good for a marriage. It adds spice, stops it from getting boring... I ought to know."

"Its MINE! MINE I TELL YOU!!!... you're all just sexist bastards!.... I hate all of you... and I'll see you in Denver!" - hillary finally breaks down

Excellent responses, canuck and tls! But Jeff - get with the program! Bette never said such a thing.

Just for Ed...
hillary should remake "Whatever Happened To Baby Jane"... I don't think she'd be able to get Obama to sign on as her sister though.

Senator Obama should remake" PeeWee's Big Adventure" , it would be the best movie ever!

Anyone who thinks hillary is packing up tomorrow hasnt paid much attention to hillary. The question is all about the tone she is going to take. But shes not ending it unless shes pushed out, when will these super delegates realize that? Is she really renting a large venue tomorrow so she can give a concession in newyork? of course not.

I'm sure Harriet Christian will be there...

No, and anyway, Barack would be totally miscast in any Joan Crawford role. I see him more as Jimmy Stewart, who never made a picture with Bette Davis. Henry Fonda, maybe. JEZEBEL!

"I am doomed to an eternity of compulsive work. No set goal achieved satisfies. Success only breeds a new goal. The golden apple devoured has seeds. It is endless. " - Bette Davis, channeling hillary clinton

I'd counter with "Presidential elections are not for sissies," to paraphrase Bette's famous remark about old age, but it would favor Hillary, and I won't go that far.

"Everybody has a heart. Except some people." ......Bette Davis
Could she have been channeling Hillary?

Hillary's not going anywhere.
They'll have to drag her off kicking and screaming.
And, if they didn't know that, I'm not surprised Bush has been kicking their asses for 7 years.

The character Judith Traherne (Bette Davis) said, “I think I’ll have a large order of prognosis negative!” in Dark Victory.
'prognosis negative' - this one's for you Hills

You simply can't ascribe rational motives to an irrational person.

Good ones! How about this, which Bette said about Joan Crawford:
"Just because a person's dead doesn't mean they changed."
Hillary is for all intents and purposes dead, but she hasn't changed.

I see Hill more as Joan Crawford in Mommy Dearest...can you imagine being in her family and having to listen to that voice?

Loved the Debbie Wasserman Schultz quote! She's just now realizing this?? Welcome to the party, Cngresswoman Schultz. You're late, but we're glad you could make it!

Wasn't it Ms. Wasserman Schultz who refused to help her local democrats get elected because it might conflict with her friendship with their Republican opponents? I don't think she's one of our brightest lights.

If one of Clinton's own national co-chairs is acknowledging the battle as lost, then I think it's safe to say that the proverbial handwriting is on the wall in big neon letters -- and even if they have to do everything short of pounding it into her head with a mallet, someone needs to find a way of making this undeniably clear to Clinton. As Al Gore reportedly said to Howard Dean when he lost the nomination -- "this is not about you, this is about the country." Damn it, we've already spent the past seven-odd years -- far too long -- dealing with one president who refuses to listen to (never mind accept) anything which conflicts with what he wants to hear, and we all know where that's gotten us. WE DO NOT NEED ANOTHER!!!

Clinton is definately Veruca Salt stomping her feet and screeching "it's not fair!" until she finally finally heads down the chute (as all bad eggs do eventually).
I'm excited that this craziness is almost over and we can get on with it!
