Good. Traffic signs are not a place for creativity. Traffic signs are a place for clear, universal directions. Driving is difficult enough in the city where I live, and the traffic signs, if they exist at all, are generally poor. Usually, there is no indication of what street you are actually on, no route numbers when you turn a corner, and there are at least three generations of versions of traffic signs. In a town nearby, they've just spent a lot of money refurbishing some old fashioned iron direction signs, that are too small to be read at the speeds at which modern traffic moves.
