Nothing helps McCain more than being away from the media spotlight. But he'll be back, and despite the media's attempts to portray him in the most positive of lights, he'll embarrass himself again. I simply don't see how the man can get through an entire campaign without proving himself to be a complete idiot. Even the media cannot save McCain from himself.
  • Mikki --SE Pennsylvania · 1 year ago
Yah the media spotlight "stresses" old Insane McCain and perhaps "his friends" should point out ot him that it will only get worse as President. But then again the republicons seem to like some consistency like following the mindless and soulless yobbo in now with a dishonest going-senile old coot. For someone fifth from the bottom of his class he did learn how to line his pockets with lobbyist cash but lets try and play down the phoney war-hero tales. Insane McCain is an embarassment to compos senior citizens.

The fuse for McCain to explode publicly is there. Just keep asking him about the political donations from EADS and the BOEING tanker contract.

I have adjusted my MSM mantra induced, don't worry be happy attitude. After a shower I will adorn myself with the, happy go lucky persona, they suggest I wear too.

I refuse to bury my head though in some of the mountains of dirt doing, going on in Washington, DC.

McCain is nothing but a jingoistic warmonger. Wonder if the FEC will let him off the hook. He raised $65 million in Jan & Feb and is having trouble getting money, from a report this am.

Of course Clinton wanted to be seen as a female McCain, dodging bullets, and all that BS in Bosnia. Well, Ms. Clinton, you're not going to win, and neither is McCrazy. People are sick of war, rumors of war, and the raiding of the Treasury. Tiime to work on the US, its people, its infrastructure, housing, etc. Otherwise, we're just becoming another banana republic, with all that implies, even down to the slums.

"And also remember that pledged delegates in most states are not pledged."

And also, also I can throw like really really far and I really like ponies and daddy said that I could get a pony if I was really really good and I am so he's going to get me a pony. What do you think of that?

There's also a great followup here:

    http://www.attytood.com/2008/03/clinton_pledged...

"Michigan shouldn’t count because of the rukes and and we shouldn’t count the superdelegates even though the rules…You know, I think that doesn’t make sense."

Ladies and gentlemen of the supposed delegation, this

    Is Chewbacca.

Carville's arrogance, and refusal to apologize to Gov. Richardson, says a lot about the Clinton camp. In many ways they remind me of the Bush gang.
They are not as bad of course, but Hillary voting for the Iraq war, and her refusal to show regret for it, for years, the Rovian tactics of her campaign against a fellow Democrat, and the vicious attacks and gutter politics by her aides, not caring if it damages the party or not, reminds me of the way the Bush campaign ran against McCain. They are a desperate bunch, and will stop at nothing to win this.

Well, since that's not going to happen, I think the next best thing is to expose China for the vile slave state it is and tie it right around George Bush and the Repub's neck.

He and the Repubs are China's biggest backers and they put the country into hock to the Chinese to the point where we have to do anything they say, so they should be held accountable for China's actions.

I'm with all that and wouldn't mind seeing it tied to WalMart and WalMart board members, even former ones like . . . oh, I don't know . . . Mrs. Clinton?

    True.

He wasn't very bright to begin with, and now he's losing his mind on top of it.

It'll be a miracle if he's not drooling in public by October.

And the media will photoshop the drool out of all the pictures. Their efforts to save him will be valiant but insufficient.

How many 'aids' exactly are going to be deployed to Pakistan before we unbenounced to them bomb the hell outta another village afterwhich the gobbernment will be forced to say it was with their full knowledge and cooperation to keep the masses from rising up and pointing their nukes at the us?

First time McDroopypants gets in a debate and forgets what the subject is it will be over. As bad as the mainstream media wants to kiss his ass they will be put on the spot to explain his lapses.

I'm not sure if ths has been discussed down thread, but I just want to say that I am DISGUSTED by the remarks of James "sleeping with the enemy" Carville about the Richardson endorsement!!
  • MotorCityBadBoy · 1 year ago
Don't worry.... McCain will blow it before the campaign is over. Can you see McCain and Obama in a debate and McCain trying those tired sooundbites against the logical approach of Obama? Goodnight Mr. McCain, thanks for coming.
  • duchessofbilgewater · 1 year ago
Well, we can enjoy the debate drinking game: a shot everytime McCain says "my friends."

There is a very interesting theory that Clinton wants Obama to lose to McCain, so she can have a chance in the next presidential election. That she knows she wouldn't get in then if Obama is elected, in the next one, and after that age is going to work against her (though it hasn't been much disadvantage to McCain so far).

I have a hard time believing she would be that selfish, and destructive, in the lust for power, but for a long time I have seen this sense of "entitlement" oozing from her and her campaign, mixed in with some anger at even having to work at getting to be the nominee.

Sort of like someone who thought they were a star getting angry about having to stoop to a screen test.
  • duchessofbilgewater · 1 year ago
I just saw the clip of Anderson Cooper and Carville -- "Dude, aren't you Mr. Washington?" Hilarious! Carville said his comment calling Richardson "Judas" is having the effect he desired. What on earth does that mean? He wants to be viewed as as sefish thug? Huh?
  • Coming Undone · 1 year ago
This is on the Hillary Campaign website and written by Peter Daou and this is why the Hillary supporters cannot let go because of these type of misleading statements. Peter wants her supporters to believe that the race is a tie and at this point Hillary is really winning and that it is Obama that is being divisive

I saw this on blogHillary and thought you might find it interesting. http://blog.hillaryclinton.com/blog/main/2008/0...
MYTH: Barack Obama is running a positive campaign that will unite Americans.
FACT: Barack Obama and his advisers have conducted a divisive "full assault" on Hillary's character.
MYTH: The delegate "math" works decisively against Hillary.
FACT: The delegate math reflects an extremely close race that either candidate can win.
MYTH: For Hillary to win, super delegates must "overturn the will of the people."
FACT: The race is virtually tied, the "will of the people" is split, and both candidates need super delegates to win.

McCain is nowhere to be found because he is playing smart and laying low, while Hillary and the anti-black church swiftboaters carve up the democratic party.

and the democratic party so-called "leadership" is sitting back and letting it happen.
when one does step forward, like Richardson, he is batted down and called a Judas.

he is not the real Judas here.

John McSane is watching the episode of the I LOVE LUCY Show where Lucy wants to impress her in-laws by being able to speak spanish. John McSane is watching how Lucy had that headpiece and someone would whisper the translations into her ears....
McSane figures if Lucy could do it...then Joe Lieberman could whisper into his ear and correct his mistakes.

John McCain has not dropped out of sight. He's been in Iraq with Joe Lieberman, confusing Shia and Sunni and generally proving himself to be uninformed and not up to the task of being President.

If you would lift your head up for a few precious moments from your task of making sure that no Hilary insult goes unsaid and your relentless pursuit of making a meaningful contribution to the destruction of the Democratic party and actually asked yourself, every day, "Hey, where is the Republican candidate and what is he doing?" you would know that. Because it's been on the news and other websites/ blogs who are staffed by people who actually remember that this country has a general election coming in the fall.
