AMERICAblog: Tweety gone wild

  • McFly · 1 year ago
"Me likey the new Tweety. It's like one of those movies where the media is in a coma for 8 years and suddenly wakes up. Of course, in those movies, they then die after 3 days, but still, we do get a gloriously 3 days of democracy."

YES! Democracy = when the press slanders pregnant teens. HUZZAH!
  • DeppFan · 1 year ago
    Who slandered her?
They reported that she is pregnant and unwed, and that her mom doesn't support sex education in schools.
    Big fucking deal.
  • RobertSeattle · 1 year ago
    Got Proof?
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Honey, it ain't slander when it's true. The truth: Levi and Bristol fucked without birth control or protection against STDs. Now deal.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Maybe just sneezed after she blew him and covered her mouth with her own Vagina?
  • Hurrycane · 1 year ago
As tempting as it is to believe that abstinence failure is responsible here, we really don't know what the actual circumstances were. Maybe they used a condom, but they didn't use it right. Maybe Bristol was on the Pill, but she missed a dose or didn't use backup protection while on antibiotics. We just don't know, so I think we should refrain from judgments like these.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
talk to your man McWimp. He's the one who ratted on the poor pregnant girl.
  • McFly · 1 year ago
Hey Aravosis, you still getting shit from "progressives" about how you were a republican until you realized that you were sexually attracted to sphincters and the smell of feces on your genitals?

PS: 'Aravosis' sounds like some kind of horrible disease - like AIDS.
  • devis1 · 1 year ago
McFly--crash and burn you little piece of shit.
  • curlytoes79 · 1 year ago
These republi-bots sure have a lot of class.
  • DeppFan · 1 year ago
You're an animal. No wonder you vote republican.

    um . . . do I smell troll?
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
It does stink in here doesn't it? Smells vaguely of Moose dung and cow shit
  • McFly · 1 year ago
Nah, that's just the smell of Aravosis' penis.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
This coming from a guy who's VP pick would go down on a goat.

    She's a fucking HOMEWRECKER!
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
A very nasty one got through the filters of the tubes of Disqus.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Yes, I thought there were going to be monitors or something to remove the trash.
  • McFly · 1 year ago
God, I love it. I'm no worse than the average poster here and yet I am a "troll" and the rest of you are not.. This is why you asshats are so powerless.
  • DeppFan · 1 year ago
    You're no worse?
You OBSESS about gay sex on a POLITICAL blog.
Lonely much? Closeted much? Hate yourself much? Vote republican!
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Even Doocey Douchebag and Killmeade Killmenow at Fox and Friends came across as much more "feminist" than Gretchen Getinthekitchen Carlson yesterday, decrying the misogyny and SEXISM that "Governor" (always this) Palin was being subjected to by a hostile media and the anti-feminist left-wing bloggers.

HERE ARE SOME LEGITIMATE QUESTIONS FOR MS. POLIN FROM THE LARGEST NEWSPAPER IN ALASKA

Peggy Noonan and whats his name are the ones that broke the bubble of silence
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
You know, those comments that the two of them made when they thought their mics were off was all I needed to hear. Republican talking heads on TV are PAID to say what they say, regardless of what they think off the air and the conservative right wing base just laps it up and believes it to be true. Sad sad sad that they live their lives so close minded...
  • nsr · 1 year ago
He might as well. One week of questioning Palin's choice wiped out 10 years of playing along (going back to all Monica, all the time), as far as the GOP's concerned. Maybe the press will wake up?
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
One thing I noticed watching the Hardball program for two nights is the enthusiasm of the crowd for DEMOCRATS. They cheer any mention Obama, they cheer Rachel Maddow. You would almost think it was the Democratic convention not Republican
  • kman2 · 1 year ago
It's beacuse St. paul is one of the most Democratic cities in the country.
  • McFly · 1 year ago
OMG, this video is friggin' hilarious. It shows how goddamned arrogant is the leftwing MSM. I suppose that the lot of you "progressives" believe that it is your "right" to have republican candidates go on shit shows like Softball and have propagandists "interview" them and twist their words into anti-republican, anti-american propaganda. Now don't you?
  • nsr · 1 year ago
Anti american is $10 billion dollars a month going to war profiteers, (personal characterization removed, by me).
  • DeppFan · 1 year ago
Just like O'Rielly wanting Obama on the "Spin Zone" for so long.

Propagandists, thy network is Fox News.
  • Upland_Oddball · 1 year ago
Toll in the house, Troll in the house. Hide your rotten trash and dirty underwear, its what they really want to get at.
  • Milli · 1 year ago
I have been proud of Chris Matthews lately. He's really taken the republican attacks on the media really personally.

"What's your problem with strong women?" Really Pat?
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Brain Ross, who singlehandedly brought down Mark Foley, has done a neat job outlining Troopergate for ABC News. Palin is toast! (Bottom line: the Alaska law enforcement establishment isn't taking shit from her, has closed ranks, and has taken an unspoken vow to bring her down).
  • Dave of the Jungle · 1 year ago
All real Americans want Pat Buchanan for Secretary of Defense.

Oh, and Richard Nixon was God.
  • lilysmom · 1 year ago
Now Andrew Sullivan is saying that the ex-business partner, of National Enquirer says possibly cheating with Sarah fame, has filed an emergency request with the court in Alaska to seal his divorce papers. hmmmmmm
    In Family Values Update

  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Yep--what's Richter hiding? And if the McCain campaign think that's the end of it, they're mistaken. The Tabloid Beast will wave $20 bills in front of anybody, ANYBODY, remotely associated with that divorce (as well as the Wooten divorce).
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Court denies motion to seal divorce papers.

This is great news!! Can't wait to see what he wanted to keep out of the public spotlight...
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Looks to me like her Vagina was once community property.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
Then he ruined it last night by being one of the only pundits to call McCain's train wreck of a speech "great."
  • AdrianBrowne · 1 year ago
I don't know . . . does a typical American soccer mom usually have THAT much drama in her life? It's more like a Mexican soap opera.
  • Upland_Oddball · 1 year ago
In the typical Mexican telenovela, the Palin household would at least have a maid, a "Maria" who would have watched the daughters and maybe helped them avoid unprotected teen sex. She may have taken a 17 year old Track into her bed, but at least, she would have taught him what a real gentleman is, would have given him a love-glove to wear, and in mnay other ways won over his undying respect and maybe, his love. That is how a Telenovela narrative typically goes. The Palin's actually play like a Springer Freak Show.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Maybe Buchanon was saying that silence is golden......

Only ,in this case, it's a golden shower with old stagnated piss.

The Bitch started a fight she can't finish.......Yap and run is her strategy.
  • sukabi1 · 1 year ago
From the looks of this thread, I know where the money Ms. Palin brought in for McSame has gone... There's a new troll in town.
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
And, of course since it's the inept McCain campaign we're talkin' about, a really C-grade troll at that.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Some people aren't good at Q&A???

Even the shittiest Community Organizer in the world would have to be prepared to do SOME of it !!!
  • kirkaracha · 1 year ago
Self-described "pit bull with lipstick" Sarah Palin:
When I hear a statement like that coming from a woman candidate with any kind of perceived whine about that excess criticism or, you know, maybe a sharper microscope put on her, I think, man, that doesn't do us any good. Women in politics, women in general wanting to progress this country. I don't think it's, it bodes well for her -- a statement like that.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Why would anyone wanbt to interview a woman who obviously ordered some troops to show her how to shoot a machine gun for the camera?
  • Hannah · 1 year ago
Minutes before Tweety said it I scribbled down (in response to Buchanan) "If they (McPalin) won't answer questions to the American people, why should we vote for them? How are we supposed to determine if they are qualified and if we agree with what they propose?

At its essense, each of these people, what they say and what they do in the campaign, are in a JOB INTERVIEW. (We do pay their salaries after all.)
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
Buchanan could not be a bigger tool.
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Its strange...MSNBC was starting to have a good thing going (and I'm counting the edgy intrateam knife fights) when someone decided to knuckle under GOP anti-Keith pressure. Wednesday's Palin-inspired floor chant really seemed to intimidate wafflers gale-whipped from Bristol coverage.
I thought the edge was refreshing...I mean they allow a nazi racist bully like Pat Buchanan unfettered access why not a glimmer or two of truth from a style more confrontational and different from the stylized left/right kabuki that has come to typify our failed professional journalist class?
  • Huxley · 1 year ago
I think that what's happening is that NBC realized they're going to be target #1 in the few weeks left before the election.

Republicans have already made it clear that aside from Obama, the media is going to be their main focus...which means NBC attacks ftw!

So that means that the producers take their "gloves off" and allow Matthews or Olbermann or Maddow to really speak their minds...then they will be partially responsible for Obama's victory and hence be seen favorably with the new administration.

What will be interesting to see is who else other than NBC they'll go after and also if those targets will turn against them in the same way.

It feels like a festival atmosphere watching all the political heads spinning doesn't it?
  • WDL · 1 year ago
I've made some snarky comments about Chris Matthews over the years. But seeing him do his journalistic work in this election has made me want to wad up every nasty word I've ever written about him and eat those words. He's a model journalist now, hard-hitting, probing for truth, and exposing idiotic, malevolent charlatans like Patrick Buchanan.
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Tweety has to wear a lot of sack cloth before I'm ready to forgive...but I am back to watching his carnival act.
I like the paring of Tweety and Olberman...knives included.
  • WDL · 1 year ago
I hear you, PD. And I know how quickly the talking heads can change. Still, I want to give CM credit for the way in which he seems to be gaining some journalistic vim and vigor in this campaign. CM and Olbermann sound like a great act, knives included. I haven't yet seen them working together, and look forward to doing so.
  • patrick314 · 1 year ago
I LOVE CHRIS MATTHEWS. I especially love him when Pat Buchanan gets his conservative white cotton briefs in a knot because he cannot properly answer Matthews' line of questioning.
  • ezpz · 1 year ago
This was good, albeit short lived.

Soon after that, he had Mr. 911 on and let ol Rudy get all his nasty talking points out AGAIN.
Tweety never challenged him on anything.
    "Notta"
    It was pathetic.

I guess they have this Catholic bond that Tweety always brags about.
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Listen...like or not its a fight for ratings and money. GE's new to our cash and eyeball stream...Make the bitch sweat. Let 'em know who's buttering their current bread.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Well, once proof of the affair breaks, she'll be glad she didn't agree to interviews.

    MSNBC is covering it now!
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
I hope the affair story breaks Monday and not today or this weekend. That way it lasts all week...
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Tweety sure as Hell didn't correct her when he mentioned what a reformer Palin is.
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
If I was close-up to Miz Rudy's thousands of little rat teeth, I'd keep my intellectual nutsack close.

"I'm not looking for your good opinions"

    -Sarah Palin
  • TheAmericanRealist · 1 year ago
Chris Matthews has never shown true "bias". You may not always agree with him, but he was always honest -- at least to himself.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
    Yeah, seeing how he's bipolar.
  • lynchie · 1 year ago
Then why in the last 8 years has he licked that back of Bush/Cheney's balls on every occassion.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
If Tweety was worth a shit, the public would (at least) know a third of what the bloggers know.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
I don't think McFly was hugged by his parents at all. He must be an orphan. A lonely sad, sexualy repressed orphan. Let's all have a moment of silence for McFly. I wish he were still here, I found him to be most entertaining. The republican base folks......now you have seen the unholy stench that is the republican base. Hateful, horrible, un-American, bigots. They have no solutions, so they insult.

Me thinks thou dost protest too much, my guess is McFly has not been laid in years. Perhaps ever.

PS: The more they come unglued, the more it means we are on the right track. They hate everything righteous and good in the world.

The Truth is like splashing holy water on their possessed naked bodies. "It burns, it burns"....
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
I'll light a candle tonight...and then blow it out. :-)
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Mark, its 538 PM EST and the Troll Fairy waved her magic wand and made McFly disappear. No trace it was ever here, except for a sad little" message deleted".
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
    So, that's it?

She's going to yap and insult and go hide?

Where does she expect the troops to hide in the desert?

What kind of example is this?

I don't like her personality. Wonder what she's like on the issues?
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
I KNOW. WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE????? it's stunning to me. ...Jaw on ground.
  • LeeFromHamburgNY · 1 year ago
We're never going to really know what she's like on the issues, because the repubs will tell her what to be like, just like they told Mac who to choose for a vp. Guess we should all become hunters and hockey players and move to Alaska to shoot mooses...
  • ShirleyGoodnessanMercy · 1 year ago
Well, we know she is a book banner who tried to fire her city librarian for not banning books she didn't like. And we know she attends a wacko church where the minister told everyone that they will go to hell if they criticise George Bush. And that's all any of us should need to know. She is a wackadoodle.

I predict she will have to step down as VP candidate just as Thomas Eagleton did in 1972, because she will be surrounded by scandal every day until election day if he doesn't dump her.
  • lynchie · 1 year ago
Her view of the issues is simple.
She read a speech someone else wrote for her. She has no view, she can't articulate a single talking point, or she would be in front of the cameras. The whole GOP party knows she is totally without a single coherent thought. She will protect her ass with troopergate, she refuses to acknowledge that her core belief in religious fantasy has allowed her daughter to get knocked up. She then congratulated the boy who impregnated her 16 year old child by putting him on an International stage to be mocked, photographed, hugged by a creepy, yellow toothed old man, undoubtedly now forced to marry the child he impregnated. He is without a job, without any parental guidance and she stands behind the belief that abstinence works. Well I guess it does, you just have to explain that to the two kids who are humping.
  • ydthin · 1 year ago
yeah, I think her 'personality' isn't coming off as well as they thought. Annoying nasal voice and sanctimoniousness. Though I suspect they thought that she'd appeal to a significant segment of straight men that would just tune her voice out while taking in her exterior, and of course us silly females would be so grateful for the double x-chromosome nod on the ticket it wouldn't even matter to us what she actually stands for.

I am loving these Sara Benincasa "Sarah Palin vlog" videos on youtube. Benincasa really hones in on the subtle sociopathic tics that Palin is hiding only from the choir she's preaching to.
    http://www.youtube.com/user/SaraBenincasa
The first six "Sarah Palin vlogs" are visible if you scroll down just a bit.
  • PeteWa · 1 year ago
Mommies abstinence education didn't work too well for little cutie pie Bristol McPreggers.
And here I thought that abstinence only education was fool proof...
  • Hurrycane · 1 year ago
That gave me one helluva headache... but it was worth it.

Buchanan's hypocrisy astonishes me. He is not a feminist in any sense of the word. I think he has as much demonstrated contempt for women as Sen. McCain.
  • WhoAmI · 1 year ago
I'd have to disagree with the statement that Sarah Palin is the only person who is not whining about the questions that have been asked. How would we know? She hasn't said a damn, unscripted thing in public since she was picked! She may find that national politics is alot different from small town politics where she can fire anyone who crosses her.
  • ShirleyGoodnessanMercy · 1 year ago
It is outrageous that a fascist thug like Pat Buchanan is invited to be on ANY show on US TV.
  • TampaZeke · 1 year ago
Were you loving Tweety when he was ooohing and aaahing over McCain's speech and declaring that it "just might win him the election"?

I was disgusted with the way he went so overboard praising McCains policy free and excruciatingly painful-to-suffer-through speech,
  • paul94611 · 1 year ago
Until a player proves themselves, they are just one more promising prospect.

Palin has demonstrated that she works for the mid-week, set script, chicken dinner circut, but until she proves herself in a quality media availability and answers the tough questions she is just one more prospect, afraid to put up on the Sunday circuit, major leagues.
