I'm looking forward to the inevitable spin from the Clinton Campaign. But really, even if she wins PA in delegates and/or popular vote, anything less than a blowout is a loss for Hillary. I wouldn't be surprised for it go 51-49 either way. I'm actually thinking 50.5-49.5 either way. Some of the Clintonistas will stamp their feet and claim they wuz robbed, but hopefully enough Clinton supporters will realize that sort of whining does them no favors and accept Obama's ascension to the nod with good grace.

Is PA proportional or winner-take-all? If its proportional, then Clinton will still be way behind Obama after PA and she won't be able to win unless she steals it by bribing superdelegates.

Just a few months ago it was 20%. They kept saying it over and over and over. The tv pundits that is. You watch, they'll never bring up 20% margin...they are now saying it was 15%.

In other news, oil topped $111 a barrel today. Eventually our economy will grind to a standstill because of these high oil prices. And Greenspan says the US is definitely in a recession now.

I'm hoping for one of two things, one of which seems incredibly unlikely -- 1) That Clinton does win by the large margin predicted, so that if she continues it has more legitimacy (this is the unlikely one) or 2) Obama comes so close, or even squeaks out a victory, so that Clinton is left with the inevitable conclusion that she should bow out gracefully.
I'm nervous enough about our chances in November with either one of them, frankly, but I'd like the healing to begin so we can focus on the general election, regardless of who our candidate is.

Please. ...McCain is going to worse than Bob Dole was in 1996.
If McCain makes the mistake again about Iraq...then it's clearly he is in dementia. Obvioulsy his handlers have told him ( and Lieberman ) of the mistake. When McCain does it again...then (to me) it's proof that he is in a stage of dementia.

---- I'm just not confident that this will be true, though. The media goes after the jugular when it comes to Democrats, but when it comes to Republicans, they turn a blind eye, or worse, actively attack those who say unpleasant truths about the GOP.
McCain is, and will continue to get, a free ride from the media, and this will shape an awful lot of voter opinion.
And the overconfidence in so many Democrats is also distressing. We in New England were that confident in the Patriots this year, and look what happened.
There is no such thing as a "sure thing" in politics.

Speaking of pols from PA... I'm on pg 5 of a 9 page Tweety kiss and tell, tell, tell in the NYT...This thing's as nugget-packed as a goldmine...a veritable crash scene of gory highlites...

This clouding the issue with facts modality is pernicious.

McCain gets a free pass on his Hoovernomics, racism, war mongering and flip flopping on cable news while every show spends time on Hillary's mathematically eliminated campaign

OBAMA OR HILLARY??? I RATHER MOVE OUT OF THE COUNTRY!!!
This could POSSIBLY BE one of the WORST presidential candidate pools ever. See what America’s Youth is saying about each of the candidates, what they have done for the campaigns and for OUR future.
