Keith & Dustin
Yes the majority of them are hypocrites. Republicons claim to be for traditional family values while they are banging every whore around, or having male prostitutes service their manly needs. They are so blatant in their hypocrisy it's kinda comical. If you can't walk the walk you shouldn't talk the talk. This is more proof that we all shouldn't be judging each other. I question anyones sanity who feels the need to be judgmental of another persons life. Our country would be a much better place if we would agree to have equal rights for gays, at least they wouldn't look as hypocritical as they do when their sordid lives get splattered all over the Internet.
cowboyneok

Marriage is between a Man and a Woman and whatever the hell you want to include as long as you're a Republican right and try to keep your really sick shit a secret, right?
They just keep making the argument for us that out and proud gays and lesbians, and our families, are really rather boring compared to their secretive compartmentalized lives. Most of them enjoy all the perks of marriage, and then just do whatever the hell they want in secret, until busted, while shooting off their "Better than Thou!" finger at everyone else hoping it will cause everyone to focus away from THEM! Its called PROJECTION and Republicans are masters at the game. Hell, I don't WANT to play that game. Like most gays and lesbians I know, my life is an open book and I'm glad it is because I don't have to HIDE any major secrets. What you see is what you get with us in the open and affirming LGBT community.

My husband and I will have our 25th anniversary next month. It will also be our first anniversary, since it will be one year since we were finally able to marry in California. We got married in 2004 in San Francisco, but that was struck down six months later. Then our beloved GOP Austrian weight lifter Governator not once, but twice vetoed our chance to get married again. And when we finally did manage to get married again, those bastions of monogomy known as Mormons tried to take it away. And in all these 25 years I've never cheated on my husband. But these Mormon polygamists and GOP philanderers want to lecture me on family values!

I was driving when the story broke and tuned to foxtalk for a moment and the fox spin monkeys are already saying it's no big deal because it wasn't a gay affair and no children were fathered. They are ignoring the fact that Sanford is a member of the rabid family values party who all wear their fellowship in Christ on their sleeves and use their faith as a weapon against those with whom they disagree. I feel sorry for the four sons who spent father's day without a father because their dad found the scent of a woman other than their mother more appealing than his family. Just like in other Republican cases the children have been used as props to convey their false family values message. And the conservatives claim kids are better off with a mom and a dad in a Christian nuclear family. Hypocrites! Religion out of politics now!

To all those naysayers who kept punching us with, "how do you know?", "Can't the guy have some down time to himself without having to tell everyone?" etc. Well, you were partially correct. He was after some "down" time with his mistress. ( as in "get down!" ) The hypocrisy of the GOP is astounding. If he were in the Senate, the GOP would be applauding him. This is the Mr. Morals man who would rather blow off his Father's Day with his four kids and wife, for something more important, his mistress. I hope his wife's next question to him through her lawyer is, "How much is your net worth?"

These are just a few things I'm curious about:
Does Sanford make frequent trips to Argentina to cheat on his wife and ignore his children and his state?
Did Sanford meet the woman he commits adultery with here in the U.S.A.? If so, how often does he fly the two of them to exotic locations where he won't be bothered by his annoying children and wife?
How often does Sanford cheat on his wife, and with how many partners? When was the last time his wife had a full STD check up?
Was the person that Sanford met in Argentina underage, and if so, does he think it's extra funny that he tried to deny money to the school system in his state while he is "dating" someone who could be one of his students?

Yes, but we now have to start asking what do the married Talibangelicals mean when they are talking about "separated?" Separated, as in how? Divorced, or not in the same room together separated? The Defense of Marriage Act supposedly protects opposite sex marriages from "the gays" but does DOMA protect marriages from "being separated?"

I disagree. Heterosexual adultery is punishable as a crime under Article 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice: http://usmilitary.about.com/od/punitivearticles... As governor, Sanford is Commanding Officer of the SC National Guard (in addition to being a reserve Air Force officer). His conduct was "to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces or was of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces." I hope he is prosecuted.
markf217

As governor, Sanford is Commander-in-Chief of the South Carolina National Guard (in addition to being an Air Force reserve officer) . Sanford publicly admitted being an adulterer and admitted to violating Article 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. All of the Republicans who don't want to repeal DADT won't have much credibility with the military if they don't call for his resignation. It is bad enough that whoremonger David Vitter was placed by the GOP on the Senate Armed Services Committee. None of this shows much respect by the GOP for people in the military.

"Two, mutual feelings .... You have a particular grace and calm that I adore. You have a level of sophistication that so fitting with your beauty. I could digress and say that you have the ability to give magnificent gentle kisses, or that I love your tan lines or that I love the curve of your hips, the erotic beauty of you holding yourself (or two magnificent parts of yourself) in the faded glow of the night's light - but hey, that would be going into sexual details ..."

Did he use a state-owned computer for his emails to her?
Did he meet her online? A chat room, a porno site?

I think the DOMA supporters should concentrate on those in their own backyard by trying to figure out why divorce rates are so high and saving broken families instead of breaking up families because of homophobia.
PRAISE G-d and Hallelujah!
The initial reports are Governor Sanford's adultery did not involve dirty diapers, sex with children, snuff films, bestiality or any other typical Republican behavior. Our prayers have been answered...
G-O-Pocrisy at its FINEST!

As governor, Sanford is Commanding Officer of the SC National Guard (in addition to being a reserve Air Force officer). His conduct was "to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces or was of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces."
I hope he is prosecuted.
Wonkette headline...
lololololololol
Sanford's office Wednesday did not dispute the authenticity of the emails, The State reported. One exchange was dated July 10, 2008 when the governor is reported to have written to her:
"Two, mutual feelings .... You have a particular grace and calm that I adore. You have a level of sophistication that so fitting with your beauty. I could digress and say that you have the ability to give magnificent gentle kisses, or that I love your tan lines or that I love the curve of your hips, the erotic beauty of you holding yourself (or two magnificent parts of yourself) in the faded glow of the night's light - but hey, that would be going into sexual details ..."
LMAO!!!! Sounds like he lifted a passage from the writings of Mrs. Cheney!
