AMERICAblog: UBS traders dumped losses on clients

I have absolutely no hope for this country anymore, not during my life time (I'm 49). It's over, and I'm likely to die either teaching English in Asia, or in a gutter in America.

I'm pissed at myself for not moving to Canada (or Australia) when I was young enough to do so. If I was Canadian I wouldn't care about American politics at all.

America is hell bound on self destruction. The republicans want to destroy the country out right. The Democrats have been bought out by erst while wall street Republicans.

I though I was voting for change. I got Obama instead.

Next time I'm voting socialist or communist or as far left as I possibly can. I know it won't make a difference. I'll just feel better... for about a minute or two.

Nothing's left by sitting back and watching as everything you ever cared about and loved turns to absolute ruin - banana republic style.

Damnit bubbles. I don't disagree but dang. I think you and me (age wise) are OK but our kids are fucked.

What would you expect from a bank that would hire Phil Gramm (REALLY!!) as an advisor. Of course they are scum.

I can think of lots of folks Obama wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen golfing with. How about some teachers, nurses, cooks, stay-at home moms etc.? It sickens me to see him out there with these fat cats whose lives are no more valuable than anyone else's.

Oh the horror... peasants on the golf course? Not unless they are riding a tractor pulling a mower.

42 million? 55 million? This is chicken scratch to international banks. Why is this story even on the "event horizon"?
