AMERICAblog: Upending the norm, it's the Democratic candidate who has the financial upper hand

That's good.
I tended to forget that Hillary's donors are only maxed out for Hillary.
They probably haven't given a dime to Obama, so can go the limit.

And, you're right.
McCain's a crook as far as public financing goes, and would probably be facing charges if Bush didn't hamstring the FEC by trying to appoint Repub ringers.
Besides, everybody knows the 527s carry the brunt of the Repub message, and they're excluded from campaign finance rules.

Will the lunatic fringe among the Clinton supporters ruin the chances of a Democrat being elected president? If you take a look at the pro-Clinton blogs, there is still a lot of talk about voting for McCain, etc. I came accross this gem this morning:
She [Clinton] is destined to be the strongest Leader in the world.
I don't know of any Obama supporter who would say something like this about Obama. We all hope that whoever our president is, that they would be a strong world leader. But to say that they are destined shows the level of entitlement that Clinton and her supporters have.

Yeah, Rodriquez (Hillaryis44) and Larry Johnson (no quarter) are still slinging their shit, but I think their influence will become less and less, even if Repub donors start funding them (if they haven't started already).
Also, Hillary doesn't have the Women's Appeal everybody claims.
My life in uinraveling because imdb.com is down. Does anyone know about any problem? I have at least 5 movies I cannot remember.

I think we can expect Diebold to be a major contributer to McCain's campaign.

Hillary still at home--LOL.
The psycho SHRILLARY has once again dissed Obama. She was suppose to give her "con"session speech at 11:00am CST, but she hasn't even left home yet.
Yet another classless move by the Clintons--surprise.
Obama should go on the air at 11:00 CST and tell her to GFH.

Check out the sparse audience. Not a single African-American in sight. She is universally despised by Black Americans because of her outrageous racist attacks on Barack. She and her white trash followers need to get out of the Democratic Party. We can't afford to be associated with such bigotry and corruption.

I don't expect Billary to concede at all in the next few minutes. It would not surprise me at all to bring out her old pal Gore and announce some kind of Independent ticket or vying for McCain's VP. Remember, the Clintons ran one of the most racist and disgustingly bigoted campaigns in history, so nothing is below their deceitful character.

Anyone watching the Hillary concession speech? God, she is FUGLY as hell. Her face literally looks as haggard as the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz.

This speech shows the Hillary that I had intended to vote for until, Bill and Mark took over her brain. Too bad that Mark Penn and Bill led her down the Karl Rove path.
Obama may put her on the ticket, but if he doesn't she should be in charge of getting healthcare reform.

republicans are hurting big time with the k street mafia shut down. now that its enforcers like "the hammer" and "little ricky" santorum are out, donors are again free to start giving their money to democrats. under the old regime, they wouldn't even let donors hedge their bets.
of course, it also helps if your side is winning -- or at least looks like it is -- people don't put their money down on losers, and that's just what the republicans have become. the writing's on the great wall and everybody can see it from space.
