Hey there cowboyneok! YEs, he was grand this morning, wasn't he? I was stunned yesterday when I watched Wrights speech at the Press Club. His initial speech wasn't bad and actually taught things about Black history and was received well, it was during that blasted Q&A when his arrogance came out in full bloom.
As with everything, I consider the source. In this case you have chosen to stretch your argument beyond logic, which I find personally amusing. In this case I think the term pansy was just used as an example of the opposite of a strong fighter, a weak person.
I mean, I consider Barack Obama to be a pansy, but I have no belief that he sucks cock.
By *your* "logic" I would even go so far as to say that you are threatened that he compared Clinton to a strong man because of your sexist prejudices against women. I mean really, are you that threatened by a woman that other men openly declare as tough, strong and a fighter?

You ain't kidding! I think that Hillary.com sends out their minions to disturb various blogs that are not of her persuasion, and this is one of them.
The scent reminds me of cheese, very old cheese from Germany or Austria, that has been left out on the counter all afternoon.
I stand for the beliefs that the Democratic party used to stand for , we used to stand up against bigotry, gay bashing, racism, Democrats smearing and throwing the kitchen sink against Democrats, but now Clinton's supporters don't seem to mind her using those tactics.

And yes, pansy was used all the time when I was younger as a slur against gays (30 or 40 years ago), and Easley is old enough to remember that. It wasn't an accident. I'm sure he'd be surprised to find out that NC is ranked #11 for same-sex couples, too. There's a large LGBT population here.

We all know Rocky was a tough dude, in motion pictures for sure, so the supposed "GAY" slur can just as easily mean Rocky could be unassertive and have an eased heart, instead of the tough guy image.
I suppose gays can read what ever they want in that one sentence but really, you make too much out of nothing.
Where was the outrage about Rev. Wright? There was none on this blog for the last few days, not until today when Obama actually responded. I suppose loosely grey area knocks on Clinton was good filler material though.
I now know why I read less and less of this blog, I was an avid reader at one time. Come on, lets get back to some thought provoking writing and lets leave the "pansy" posts for those pundits with an axe to grind.
