AMERICAblog: Wachovia execs to receive over $98 million?

  • Older_Wiser · 1 year ago
Robert Steel deserves nothing since he did nothing to try to turn Wachovia around (like firing those who contributed to its downfall). He worked 18 days before the bank collapsed and did nothing to revive it, so to be fair, didn't have much time, but that wasn't the reason he was hired as much as for his cache (former undersecretary of the Treasury and VP at Goldman Sachs).

After all, the financial community is nothing but an excess of incest...they all think alike. No wonder we're in this crisis.

I think it's time for a national tax strike.

Oh how I wish! That would be a great stimulus package for me!

Funny how that works. My company, a large one, is laying people off with pennies for severance. Remember how the markets would take care of themselves? More like the rich will take care of the rich and screw everyone else.

I still have yet to hear of a credit union going under. Greed doesn't work.

I wonder what would happen if millions put their money into credit unions instead of banks.

It does work. Just not for us.

    Surprise, surprise.

So, employment agreements are fine for the Masters of the Universe but union agreements are the death of the economy? Another "free market" hypocrisy.

We can't get bush out of here fast enough. I'm all for Obama taking him and dick and throwing their asses in jail right now. How the hell did we end up with a moron and an evil bastard who survives heart attack after heart attack after heart attack after heart attack after heart attack for eight, long, painful years........

Sick of it. Sick of it. SICK OF IT!!! Blatent greed and corruption and lack of conscience - in BROAD DAYLIGHT - in front of the empty pockets of millions of decent citizens and the turned heads of the powers that be. The fleecing of the middle class, indeed.
