So what is the National Press Club thinking, huh? Renting out their rooms and their reputation to someone like Sinclair.
  • OleHippieChick · 1 year ago
Pfff. They don't even vet the guy. That's some fine investigative work there, presswhores. Irony much?

Ten bucks says Larry Sinclair is buddies with "Jeff Gannon" (who is now blogging from the National Press Club.)

Read this info on Gannon/Guckert if you want a jaw-dropping blast:

though they forgot to mention that the Washington Blade has irresponsibly hired this crooked cretin to write frequent columns this past year or more.

Unbelievable they're letting Gannon blog there and this Sinclair guy slander there. The National Press Club has turned itself into a bad joke.

It's very sad. I worked in the National Press Club building thirty years ago for a brilliant journalist and to be in such a place daily awed me. There were brilliant folk all around, including some amazing Native Americans who could just knock your socks off by what they said in the elevator. How on earth did the National Press Club come to this? Does anyone know?

    $$$ They're selling their soul.

    $$$ They're selling their soul.

I wouldn't think all of them are willing to sell their souls. The other thing that is very prominent or at least another factor is that most of them are terrified of crossing Bush who has shown no hesitancy in going after his "enemies" calling them terrorists and subjecting them to persecution and even prosecution. Bush has claimed the right to declare anyone regardless of citizenship an enemy agent and terrorist and subject to being seized and held without communication or legal rights. Many are disappeared and sent to secret overseas prisons as well as held on secret prison ships. You guys are kidding yourselves if you think the despot Bush will meekly walk out of the White House on January 20, 2009 and turn it over to Obama or even McCain.

Oh, I didn't think of that! Oh, he is IN for it!

Should Cindy McCain's Brain Damage Be A Campaign Issue?

  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
I wouldn't wish a stroke on anyone, and I really don't think it should be an issue. I've read your posts, and I don't think
you do either:) I think what's at issue is McCain putting his wife in a position to be scrutinzed by the press because
of all the attention being paid to Michelle Obama. He's not a smart man, and it's only a matter of time before his
    wife really becomes a target.

Carry on soldier. I enjoy your posts.

You have to wonder about the intelligence of someone who would hold a press conference while having outstanding warrants. Ever consider laying low, Larry?
  • shanobama · 1 year ago

    serves him right!

    what a dumb ass.
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago

"you seem up to snuff"-National Press Club to Larry
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
Tomorrow, on Rush Limbaugh and FOX NEWS, Larry "crack head" Sinclair will have his reputation white washed by accusations he was arrested because of some conspiracy to protect Obama's reputation. I can hear/see it now.
