He will do whatever damage is left that he can do in the next 6 weeks, you betcha. The more egregious, the better for his "legacy there."
Meanwhile, it's 20 degrees here overnight, and will be this way for the next week here in NC. Our usual temps are in the 40s and 60s through the day. As a result, shelters are reported being overfull in Charlotte, and more meals being served at various soup kitchens.
They showed some folks wrapped in blankets sitting on various bus benches downtown, and it was heart breaking--I don't care who those people are, drunks, addicts, whatever--they're human beings and deserve much better than they ever got in life.

Yeah, but we usually don't have this weather until late Jan at least. I've seen many Thanksgiving days in the high 60s and low 70s. : )

Bush can't afford to look other than compliant to his base. It'll be interesting to watch and see whether they come around after he's out of office. Maybe they'll visit him in Paraguay.

rePigs couldn't care less about the environment, its all about $. Responsibility? To right wingers that word is a joke.
One reason I have rejected religion - religous people themselves find the bible laughable. In the first page of the bible it says that man shall have "dominon" over the earth and its inhabitants, including the animals and plants, etc. Dominon means "care taker".
Most Christians reject this responsibility. If they fall on their face in the first page of the bible - I hardly have time for the rest.
As Ameircans we are duty bound to start cleaning up the atmosphere. Its called being responsible (not to mention it might open the door to leading and cutting edge technologies). But like I said - rePigs haven't a clue when it comes to responsibiltiy. I hope the upcoming generation learns this.
