What total nonsense; having a president while overseas comparing a new nominee to such horror is unprecedented!

Gross, but fitting.
At a meeting of the Academy of American Diplomacy yesterday, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said that the U.S. should engage Iran with “a combination of incentives and pressure.” We need to figure out a way to develop some leverage . . . and then sit down and talk with them,” Gates said. He added that the U.S. “can’t go to a discussion and be completely the demander.”

Something...wonderful.
There are a record (I think) number of Libertarian candidates for president this year, and an inordinate number of former Republicans running.
The theocratic wing of the Republican Party hates the nominee.
I think we are going to see an attempted coup of the Libertarian Party.
And I think it will fail, and we'll get a third party similar to a right-wing version of the Progressive Party, which will actually get some representatives elected to Congress.
His legacy is clear: FAILURE

Pappy O"Daniel: "Yeah."
Junior O'Daniel: "A lot of people like that reform. Maybe we should get us some."
Pappy O"Daniel: "I'll reform you, you soft-headed son of a bitch. How we gonna run reform when we're the damn incumbent? Is that the best idea you boys can come up with? Reform?! Weepin' jesus on the cross. Thta's it! You may as well start drafting my concession speach right now."
