AMERICAblog: Watch Stephanopoulos help Hillary lie

I'll never forget when Stephanawfulous was working for the corrupt Clintons and lied day after day to the media. When Monica was in the White House, he covered for Bill. When Hillary tried to force an outlandish socialized medical program on Americans, Stephanawfulous lied for her too. The guy is a total loser who would do anything to advance the sick Clinton agenda. Pretty much the only ex-Clinton staffer who has any dignity left is Dick Morriss who tells it like it is.

Dick Morris woudl be on the same Clinton bandwagon had they not had a falling out years ago! He's another talking-head-idiot that has a permanent spot on the "Fixed News" station.
The only journalist that has a shred of decency left is Bill Moyers. You get the feeling that a uniqe insight is being conveyed--no matter what the topic.

Meanwhile, President Bush's former homeland security adviser and current intelligence advisory board member Fran Townsend is following in Tony Snow's footsteps and joining CNN as a contributor.
The only real solution is to turn off your televisons. Otherwise, you sound like heroin addicts complaining about the quality of the smack you get from your dealer. The mainstream media does the bidding of large corporations, and they will help the candidates that most help them. As long as people continue to watch, they have no incentive to change anything.

Good point, but if we do that there will be no challenge to the system. Even the dealers have to listen to the crack heads of the world.
If the "shi* gets too bad, the buyer pool will dry up." It wold be cool if there were an organization powerful enough to organize a strike on the advertiser's products. Mainstream media will come around in a hurry.

Blackwolf, The dealers will only listen to the crackheads when the crackheads stop buying crack. It seems no matter how bad the crack is, the crackheads won't give up on it. Television is a very big problem in America. It is an addiction and it is controlling people. I don't think that the benefits outweigh the downside.

One of the quite giveaways of the Bill Clinton admin was to put policies in place that would allow huge media monguls to buy stations and bandwidth. There are only five major players in the game, and they control what the masses see and hear to a large part.
The media is a fascinating study, and yes, it's an addiction.

On CNN today even Charlie Rangel jumped on Blitzer for the media's treatment of Obama and obsession with Wright. Actually, the whold panel slapped Blitzer around. But, true to form during the round table the pundits talked up Hillary's pandering on the gas tax and put Obama down for opposing it. then, when they were showing clips of other sunday shows they showed Hillary's town hall but, ignored and did not show Obama on MTP. Seems there is definitely a media agreement to promote Hillary and slam or dismiss Obama. I am hoping, though I don't think it will happen, that Obama wins both states Tuesday.

Vwcat: I noticed the same thing this morning. It doesn't matter what the guests wantedo talk about, Blitzer kept "obsessing". The upside is that new's panelists are beginning to get irritated. Keep on eye out for a lot more slapping to come.
It's funny! I'm watching the media grope for words whenever they get dissed. And, it's beginning to be so obvious is looks stupid on their behalf.

Sooner or later, George will come around to the fact that he's being played by Clinton. I sensed it in the dialogue. These are the kind of guys, once they've been shit on, that can open up and tell the world what time of day it really is.
His reputation is being challenged for being soft. Rather than lose complete credibility, he'll make the "turn".

Isn't it obvious what's going on? The corporatists, the well heeled, the militarists, the religeous zealots are scared out of their shorts that Obama will bring about a new, New Deal, that will restore constitutional government, reaffirm the dignity of work and reestablish fair taxes. If George wants to keep his high paid job, he along with the rest of theTV blowhards are going to have to stick to the corporate line.

Did you expect anything to be different? We all know politicians lie, but the thing that really galls me is that we are all played for ignorant, forgetful, people. Hillary apparently doesn't think WE are smart enough to go back and look at her record when she was a resident (only) in the W.H. So either admit you said things that you now want to tell us you were wrong about and get on with it. We all change our minds about things from time to time but to lie about it and say you never said something is shameful. Pictures don't lie Hillary, you do. I do believe she forgets what lies she has told in the past and goes on like there was no yesterday. Do we really want someone who conveniently forgets the past to be our POTUS?

The interesting thing about this, and I consider it a blessing in disguise...is that the masks have come off . The transparency we are witnessing! Learning who is truly on the American peoples side.
The supposed Progressive few in Congress who have cast their lot with Hillary and her ancient ways of corruption and greed. The media who have completely unmasked themselves as the Fascist tools they have always been...Only it is not working. They have shown us their faces. We know-who-they-are, both politician and media employeee alike.
Think about that. We-know-who-they-are
Are we going to reward them or punish them at both the ballot box and through boycotting the corporate masters?
Do we have it in us as Americans to save the day? Do we????
I know who they are. I will vote against all incumbents no matter how painful that act may be. I have already thrown out the television and selectively watch online only.
Action in the language of power and money is the language we need to collectively speak in. If we do, the question of whether someone is truly for or against NAFTA would never have need to be asked.

Clinton's Magnequench ad 'hypocritical,' critic says
VALPARAISO | Against the backdrop of the former Magnequench factory, U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill., continued the recent round of criticism against U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton regarding defense industry offshoring.
The Valparaiso plant became a topic of interest in the national campaign after Clinton began using it as a talking point for how a faltering economy can also jeopardize national defense. Although Clinton has blamed President Bush's administration, critics have pointed out that the sale of Magnequench was approved in 1995 by former President Bill Clinton.
Magnequench acquired the Valparaiso plant in 2000. It transferred operations to China in 2003, when it supplied about 80 percent of the rare-earth magnets used to supply U.S. "smart bombs." About 225 jobs were lost in the move.
Schakowsky, who is one of U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's national co-chairs, called Clinton's Magnequench TV ad "hypocritical."
"To blame Bush belies the truth, which is that the ultimate decision was made during (Bill) Clinton's presidency," Schakowsky said. "Blame has to be shared." http://www.thetimesonline.com/articles/2008/05/...

Grahamcracker's still clings to the yesterday approach of Clinton's campaig having any meaning by spewing the meme that Obama supporters will not back Clinton.
While this inquiry may have been relevant and meaningful 5-6 months ago, it is meaningless today as Obama will get the nomination absent theft. So the meaningful and reasoned approach is how are Clinton supporters going to move forward after their candidate either gracefully concedes or is shown the door in Denver.

WHY can't someone from the Obama camp use these clips to show the naive, that Hillary was for, and sold her husband's great NAFTA, during his tenure in the WH? We know she is a first class liar, but it seems her followers still don't get it. She shows signs of having the same disgusting tactics, as we have seen coming from the present administration. Would Clinton supporters vote for Gore if he gets the nomination in Denver? This is a worthless question because it will not happen, much in the same way your Clinton questions is now meaningless, for Clinton will not get the nomination. Stammer and studder all you must, but Clinton is finished absent theft of the nomination.

Former Clinton Admin. Sec. of Labor Robert Reich:
Hillary Clinton Doesn't Listen to Economists
When asked this morning by ABC News' George Stephanopoulos if she could name a single economist who backs her call for a gas tax holiday this summer, HRC said "I'm not going to put my lot in with economists.”
I know several of the economists who have been advising Senator Clinton, so I phoned them right after I heard this. I reached two of them. One hadn’t heard her remark and said he couldn’t believe she’d say it. The other had heard it and shrugged it off as “politics as usual.”
