dear white male voters, Quit voting republican. What if you lose your job or get in an acident? That candidate you can "have a beer with" will vote to raise his salary but vote against benefits for you. Your homophobia and racism will lead to your homelessness

It's too bad that this is not getting enough MSM coverage. The House only passed this after the second try. Now, Senate Rethugs will try to block it, and that criminal in the WH has vowed to veto any legislation that allows the unemployed to get a 13 week extension. The average check is $267/wk, or abour $3400 for those extra weeks which is probably more than the average Rethug spends on lunch. Of course, anyone who saw how The Criminal handled Katrina must know by now that he's not interested in your personal problems, even if you drown or suffer without food or waters for days.
It's too bad people won't recall those who continually vote against the people's interest and only for bills which stuff their own pockets, much less stop voting for them. Of course, when reporters or pundits question candidates, they don't ask the most important questions, i.e., what is your position on (insert issue which affects the average person). The "micro" questions always are buried in the "macro" questions, and the details are too often ignored. Well, this is one of those details...

My wife and I talked about exactly this issue last night. There are many more poor and middle class than rich in this country. Take for example the tax cut Bush gave the rich. Why don 't Americans simply vote out those people who continue to pander to the rich and corporate elite. Have Americans become so stupid that they don't realize we can control this country by electing people who represent us not the rich. Maybe I am not bright enough to understand how the Republicans continue to get elected after voting to stop an extension of unemployment, vote against more education funding for the troops, vote to support Billions in bailout for Wall Street, allow corporate welfare, continued tax breaks for oil companies, allow companies to incorporate offshore and pay no taxes and most importantly continue to elect the assholes who support the movement of our jobs to other companies. How in the hell can we get through to these people that if they vote for their best interests we might not have to worry about what Bush andCheney want to do we will have a Congress that is voting to stop what they are doing. Help me understand.
