Obama should put together an ad consisting of clips of McSame warbling "Bomb-bomb Iran," cheerleading for the war in Iraq, and demanding a military response to Russia in Georgia. The voice-over could ask if we want a president whose first response to every crisis is "send in the troops" instead of "send in the diplomats."

The Edwards thing kind of took the attention away from McCain, though it didn't seem like McCain had much planned to take advantage of Obama's absence anyway.

(Oh yeah, McCain did run around like Chicken Little when the Russians expelled the Georgians from the territory the Georgians invaded, proving himself to be too high-strung under pressure to be president.)

Didn't bother signing up for the Obama Veep thing. I read the news more often than I check my e-mail, and I'm sure it will hit the top of all the news sites when it's announced.

I'd like to take this opportunity to send a message to all of Hillary's rabid never give in, never surrender supporters. Read it here. http://www.tagg-lines.com/2008/08/open-letter-t...

(People in D.C. are way, way, way too important to be bothered by the rules of the road -- and common courtesy.)

... just ask Bob Novak, I'm sure he'll tell you all about it.

Good morning. The sun is shining and the palms are swaying in the breeze. It's another lovely day in sunny Florida.

After convincing the Saddleback church that Adultery is hot, McCain will put more of his McValues on display by attending a fund raiser put on by Abramoff buddy and good Christian thief, Ralph Reed,in Atlanta on August 18th. The Native Americans better hide their wallets.

Al Kamen at The Washington Post has an interesting, if unintentionally funny, article today about how the RNC website totally ignores McCain and puts all it's emphasis on Obama.
The irony is that Obama's name is in the forefront and that white-haired, wrinkly guy is forgotten. Meh-Cain, indeed.
