AMERICAblog: What is John McCain's problem with birth control?

  • prochoicelib · 1 year ago
It's not just about women. Birth control seriously affects married couples of child bearing age the ability to control their future by planning when to have children. With cost of living, education debts and careers, having a politician say he has a problem with American's controlling when to have families is HUGE.

Yes it's about the birth control, not the viagra... but the "press" is still providing cover for McCain.... turning it into a "the old man doesn't want to talk about his "personal problems" with viagra issues .... chuckle, chuckle...
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
mccain doesn't give a shit about birth control...

I think it'd be easier to list things that he DID give a shit about, as there's only one thing on that list. 'john mccain'.

its a very safe position for him to stake out though for a bunch of reasons...

be 'anti birth control', win some conservatives over and come across as less moderate. secondly, he's a man heading into his 70's... it doesn't affect him unless he's got some frozen sperm out there somewhere... third? it doesn't affect john mccain.

I really believe he doesn't give a shit about a lot of things... because they can't affect john mccain.

gays? why would he care... unless he's worried that he's going to lose votes.

economy? same thing, he'll never spend all his wife's money... there's just too much of it, and economic downturn isn't exactly causing them to sell off their houses left and right is it?

I really can't think of anything that john mccain cares about... other than john mccain.

Well, you're right about that. As just one more example, the only thing he's interested in is getting elected--with the help of the First Dimwit. And how is he going to do that, you might ask? Check this out: http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com...

sen. mccain has made the choice for women.

    boners and babies.

i think the good Senator is in for a big surprise...
this pisses off more women than anyone knows...until now.

the only thing worse than being told by a bunch of old, white men that they are going to control your reproductive choices, is to find out how cheap and easy it is for them to get their Viagra...growl.

Watch the video without sound to get a new appreciation of how old and confused Johnny is...And then (shudder!!!) watch his mummy hands....yeeesch!

It's simple; viagra is a medical issue; birth control is a political issue.

    Our army lies
Upon mine honour, all too confident
To give admittance to a thought of fear.
Our battle is more full of names than yours,
Our men more perfect in the use of arms,
    Our armour all as strong, our cause the best;
Then reason will our hearts should be as good:

    that's hilarious!!!!!

i hope that's what McBoner thinks...

  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
    hmm... interesting.

one could argue that without Viagra... birth control wouldn't be an issue.

the only thing is, the ones who complain about birth control are usually of the AGE when it wouldn't matter anyway... but they need Viagra.

funny, I thought chimpco was all for teaching abstinence... isn't okaying Viagra promoting promescuitiy?

Kind of funny, considering how many years he admitted to screwing around with pilot groupies, cocktail waitresses and exotic dancers.

Guess he figured it was their problem.
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
wouldn't it be wonderful if Richard Simmons was really one of john mccain's love children?

okay, maybe not wonderful... poetic justice?
  • Rab · 1 year ago
Would someone explain to Gramps what a birth control pill is, this is getting to be too much.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
He knows, but he can't admit it because the Repub base calls birth control pills "Baby Killer Bullets."
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
hmm... by that logic 'baby killer bullets'... why bother with birth control? why not just jail all women of child-bearing years, because every month they abort a perfectly good egg which could turn into another republican if fertilized.

    Soundboy,
They're working on it! Give them a chance.
  • dad · 1 year ago
the term should not be "birth control"
the tern should be "conception prevention"

    yes?
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
true... I don't really view it as any different than a condom.

except a condom will aid prevention of STD's... of course, don't ask john mccain that question.
  • joshuasgrandma · 1 year ago
John McCain does have a problem with condoms too! In a classic exchange last Sept he was asked about condoms for AIDS prevention, and he couldn't remember if he had a position on condoms. He asked an aide to check on what his condom position was - then said he thought it was the same as Bush's. Both he and Bush probably don't remember what position you use with condoms!

I wish McCain's mother had used "conception prevention"
  • BlueNTexas · 1 year ago
I wish Momma McCain would have used birth control.
  • ndtovent · 1 year ago
ahhh it doesn't matter. mccain thinks all women are "C's" and trollops anyway.

Btw, disqus is screwing up today. It's scrolling seems to have a mind of its own. Anyone else having issues?
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Johnny Mac LOVES the puss-ah, but he's frightened of women who want to exercise power over the vagina. Basic distinction that needs to be made.
  • Bostonian_Queer_in_Dallas · 1 year ago
Yelling in all caps....AMERICA STOP VOTING BASED ON THE PENIS AND VAGINA FOR CHRIST SAKES. YOU ARE LIKE A FUCKING JUNIOR HIGH LOCKER ROOM ABOUT SEXUALITY.

The average maturity age of this nation is about 12.

reminds of of Monty Python movie "The Meaning of Life"
remember when the catholic family was singing "Every Sperm is Sacred"
  • tduffy2 · 1 year ago
I don't think McCain is showing discomfort. I think he's trying real hard, and counting to 10, not to blow his "cool". He said he didn't want to discuss it and the reporter pressed on. How dare she!
  • Indigo · 1 year ago
Mr. McCain can't talk about those Freudian topics. They're off limits to his PTL and 700 Club base.

Somebody in the MSM had better sit McCain down in front of a camera and get him to talk about his views on Birth Control and why he hesitated then refused to answer the question. I want to know what he's hiding.
