John, I completely agree with you. There's only one problem - they can't endorse anyone, or at least they're not “supposed” to. Both the national and local College Democrats organizations (and I'm assuming the same holds true for YDA groups) are supposed to remain neutral and not endorse any candidate during the primaries so that no matter what happens, they can throw all their weight behind the nominee during the general.
CDA and YDA are supposed to be extensions of the party line and not take proactive stances that differ from the DNC. Believe me, there are a lot of College Democrats groups around the country that are no more than “yes men” for the DNC and care more about padding their resumes than holding their own party accountable.
Sorry this got a tad off-topic, but you have to understand how this organization works in order to understand why it’s leaders wouldn’t be more proactive in something that is remotely divisive within the party.

Perhaps Mr. Aravosis should listen to Senator Obama and the grown-ups in his campaign: she has a right to run in the remaining primaries and no one should be trying to force her to quit before the last primary on June 3. After all, it's only three weeks.
)ne of the Huffington Post writers said last night or this morning on CNN that as Hillary campaigns in these final primaries she is preparing her supporters for the end so that they are more willing to support Obama in the fall.

Sorry Kansas, BUT SHE LOST. Another three weeks is another, what, $10m, $20m spent. Are you planning on paying for her three weeks of electoral therapy because she doesn't have enough testicular fortitude to admit she lost? Have you heard of John McCain? He's the guy we're ACTUALLY running against. I'm sorry, but no, we don't fucking wait another 3 weeks for some nutjob going through the five stages of grief. Let her go to therapy if she needs a hug, but don't do it on my time. The grown ups have an election to fight. She lost. You lost. Get over it.

Uh, no!
Part of the reason that the other POTUS candidates dropped out when it became clear they didn't stand a chance of winning is simply because they realized that the longer the party has a big question mark about who their person will be, the harder it is to coalesce around that person for the generals. The GOP has known this for years, hence the reason why some of their candidates who weren't doing very badly at all (like Romney and Huckabee) pulled the plug before it got too much of a distraction from the obvious guy.
I would agree with your logic, IF, AND ONLY IF, Hillary would show a little class and instead of continuing the mudslinging just ride out the last 3 weeks with a bit of class. Instead, she is still throwing barbs about Obama supporters and posturing about how they need to debate more and other foolishness. These are not the actions of a person trying to save face, they are the delusional antics of a person who hasn't realized that their chance has come and gone.

Perhaps they're only including those who'll be 18 by november, but why all the 17 year-olds?
