Lieberman is getting ready to become a Republican. In January the Democrats will no longer need him to have a majority in the Senate. He will lose his important committee chair and will be ignored. His problem is that Republicans do not really like or trust him either. Even though they do use him for propaganda purposes. Between now and the new Congress he has to prove himself to the Republican Party. And he is a turd.

OT... so... only a couple of hours before I find out if I can get married in California or not.

of course, they'll stay the ruling (if its in our favor) until the SCOTUS accepts or rejects hearing the case.

Why doesn't Harry Reid tell Liebrman right now and in no uncertain terms, that if he makes even one more move or statement against the Democratic candidate and in favor of the Republican, come January he will be removed from any posiiton of influence whatsoever in the Senate? It's clear we'll take the Senate by then, and even if Lieberman ducks to the Republican side out of spite, the Dems can filibuster everything from now until November to prevent any damage -- even a Supreme Court nominee if need be.
Time to call this traitor's bluff. Lieberman's about two things, and two things only: Lieberman and Israel (in that order). He cares more about Israel even than the US. Time to dump this turncoat. (Does anyone think the Repugs would have tolerated this from one of their own?!)

I think if he were removed now, he would flip and become a republican and when the power shifts back to the republicans they would give him his leadership position back, he would continue to smirk and parade around until January 20th I think we should ignore him. He wants the attention and if he isn't mentioned by the democrats it will bother him more than constantly berating him. He feeds off of the people's scorn. He'll be out of time soon enough.

Lieberman's time is drawing to a close and like a spoiled child who is trying for as much attention as he can stir up, he will continue to thumb his nose at the democrats and voters who voted him out of office, only to have him run as an independent winning with all the help of the republicans. He's in payback mode and nothing he does will ever even the score for him. He's a pathetic little smirking man who's time has come and he's throwing his last tantrums. He's another one after January 20th who will lose his leadership position on committees and will most likely flip completely into the republican that he truly is. Good riddence I say.

Why is Kerry campaigning for Barack Obama on his Senate Web site?

That's against the Senate rules. It's one thing for Kerry to sell out Americans and the endorse the Democrat for president, but it's quite another to permit him to use government resources to campaign. I'm pretty sure that's not allowed, and it's clearly the intent of Kerry's newest veiled post to his Web site. He's taking a swipe at Republican President Bush in an effort to help Democrat nominee Obama.

Lie-man is not the only fake Democrat campaigning for the other party candidate.....Senator Daniel Inouye ( D) of Hawaii is campaigning for Senator Ted Stevens ( R) of Alaska they are both chairmen of the powerful armed services budget committee a couple of huge crooks taking money from the "defense" contractors..Stevens is under investigation for taking bribes (I think Dan should be) the two of them have been in the Senate since the beginning of time. Inouye is nearly 90 and will die in the Senate, his life long job.
