8% ???? Why would she get that much? And another thing, Did Hillary just drop the whole Summer gas tax idea. I have not heard one word of this proposition from either McCain's or Clinton,s camps since last Tuesday,s vote. If It was such a good Idea the Monday before the vote why was'nt hailed as a equally good Idea on the Wednesday after the vote. Has anybody asked either of the campaigns that question?

That's the beauty of making up your own reality as you go along; it doesn't matter what, if anything, makes sense. ALl that matters is that YOU believe it. Clinton's people probably believe, with all their hearts, that Obama can't possibly win any state in the general that Hillary won in the primary, but were you to ask if that logic applies to all the areas or demographics in which Hillary's faltering, they'll think you're just being ridiculous, OF COURSE Hillary will do well with black people and any state that Obama won. It's just that HE can't win the states where SHE'S won. Silly.

What a sad lot the Clinton campaign has gotten to be...with the exception of how the campaign's been run and who she hired to run it. After you consider that, there's not one whit of sympathy left. : )

Congressional investigators looking into a "pricey" trip to France taken by Fossella (only member of Congress who made it), and whether or not his illegal "wife" went with him...(just heard on Hardball).

talkleft had a good post on this earlier today... I didn't realize how much of the white vote hillary won in all those states. I hope it doesn't transfer to the general. Here is the link to the post: http://www.talkleft.com/story/2008/5/12/95151/7241

scooter, well, the committee may overlook his extra-marital hijinks, but when it comes to money for an alleged "fact finding" trip to France, all bets are off. Rethugs can't afford to continue to make these kinds of mistakes and get caught. Do you know who's running against him?
Let's hope, finally, one of those bastards gets what he deserves. People are sick and tired of Congress and their tricks and money grubbing on the taxpayers' dime, and seats are at stake in Nov. : )

McCain's 7 Steps to Beating Obama: 1. Paint Obama as a False Messiah 2. Work, Woo and Win the Referees 3. Meet With the People, and Force Obama to Follow 4. Claim the High Road Without Leaving the Low Road 5. Use A Vice President to Temper The Age Issue 6. Make Inroads Among Traditional Democratic Voters 7. Rely on the Historic RNC Advantage
In 2006, Mr. Fossella’s Democratic opponent, Stephen Harrison, a Brooklyn lawyer, fared better than any previous opponent, winning 43 percent of the vote. This year, Mr. Harrison and another Democrat, City Councilman Domenic M. Recchia Jr. of Brooklyn, are in a primary race to challenge Mr. Fossella. Democrats in Washington said the fact that there were two candidates they called credible seeking to challenge Mr. Fossella underscored his vulnerability this year. The Democrats currently hold a 235-to-199 edge in the House, with one vacancy.
Fossella is the only Rethug representing NYC.

older: harrison is a great guy, but he and his democratic primary opponent are both from the brooklyn part of the 13th congressional district. it may or may not matter given how the deep discount on generic republicanism this cycle. vito vino fosella is a staten islander, at least when he's not drunk in virginia. word is his wife is dumping him.

A liar shpould have a good memory was once known by Clinton, but she and her husband have been lying so long she forgot whether this was another lie or the truth.

Obama's campaign has dropped hints that they are going to use a new map. Not the old one of the past 20 years. New states in play, ect., so let Hiilary win her state of WV and then, just leave. The game has changed.
