AMERICAblog: Will Sarah Palin vote for Ted Stevens in November?

  • ShirleyGoodnessanMercy · 1 year ago
I'm still unclear on whether McCain chose Tina Fey or Julia Louis-Dreyfuss for his running mate?
  • howie · 1 year ago
Hey, voting is a private matter unlike what you do in your bedroom. How dare you ask such an intrusive question of the great and glorious pure as snow Sarah Palin

    (hehehe)

Will Caribou Barbie go updoo or down, chopsticks or knitting needles?
Will she snowmachine onto the stage?
Will they show her channel 2 audition tape in her bio film?
Is the Eskimo vote a lock?
Will Bristol and Levi neck during the speech?
  • gumbygirl · 1 year ago
Caribou Barbie!!! I'm so happy now, I need a glass of wine to celebrate. I couldn't in my wildest dreams have hoped for anything as good as this episode of Jerry! What will this trailer trash have to say tonight? Can't wait to hear it!
  • gumbygirl · 1 year ago
Oh, and PD-it will definitely be chopsticks. Sarah hid the knitting needles when she found out Bristol was preggers.
  • Rab · 1 year ago
Which drunk repug will it be tonight that will scream out on live t.v. , "Sara baby, show us your tits"!
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
Boy that Mika from Joe Scarborough's show just gave an endorsement for Palin that made me want to PUKE!

She is saying people, especially women, will feel sorry for Sarah Palin because of all the poor treatment she is receiving. Who are we selecting: President or American Idol? My GOD, if this election turns into some kind of beauty / popularity contest based on who has the biggest bra size then I'm DONE with voting. If Sarah Palin gets elected because she is a female governor from Alaska with lots and lots of personal problems then I won't bother trying to participate in our supposed "democracy." I will consider the American experiment failed and I will join other ways to ensure our leaders are qualified and up to the challenge of running our country to represent our best interests. I'm not talking any kind of violence because I believe in the tenets of Martin Luther King and Ghandi, but I will absolutely GIVE UP on voting.

Just heard Mika Brezinski raving on MSNBC, how Palin relates to women. Went to my Pilates class today. In 2 years noone in the class as ever talked politics - only kids, husbands, jobs, health. Today they were going crazy. They couldn't understand how anyone so unqualified could be nominated. Most are mothers, working mothers, but they couldn't understand how she could leave a disabled baby and a teen in crisis, for such a job. It was wild. Several of the people spoke favorably of McCain, but were shocked by his choice. I live and die politics but I didn't say a word, because I was fascinated by how worked up everyone was against Palin.

Thems is a lotta SEXIST women with SEXIST attitudes you got there in that Pilates class. But then it IS a Pilates class. Real, hard-working, normal hockey moms don't do Pilates.

Heads-up on The Most Important Speech Ever in the History of America, courtesy of TPM. Palin will sneer, just like Joe Scarborough does every morning, at Obama's record as a community organizer. By implication, minorities in urban America can go LeviBristol themseves....

What does it say about a plurality of the Alaska Republicans that they would vote for an indicted 84-year old who knows Jack Shit about the tubes of the internets in the 21st century?

Come on AP...Where's the pic of Levi and Bristol in hot undies?

Just as you imagine nothing new can pop up ABC reports that Tom Delay hosted a big party last night with many of the GOP old timers in attendance. "The Bug Man" as tommy boy is known inserted himself into the mix at the convention. No doubt he and Ralphie Reed (doesn't Ralphie remind you of the kid who played Ralphie in the Christmas Story).

    http://abcnews.go.com/print?id=5707463

MINNEAPOLIS -- Tom DeLay, the former House GOP majority leader whose connections to convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff brought scandal and disgrace to the Republican party, returned to the spotlight in Minneapolis last night, helping to host a private party that drew hundreds of delegates and Republican officials.

"He's the man, he's the man," said one guest leaving the party.

"I've always liked him, he's a good solid conservative," said one delegate standing in line for entrance to the party, Corey Stewart, chairman of the Board of Supervisors in Prince William County, Virginia.

DeLay arrived at the Minneapolis night club for his party last night in a gold mini-van, no longer traveling with the Capitol police detail that used to protect him from reporters and other perceived security threats.

He declined to answer questions from ABC News as he entered the back door of the club through a loading dock.

Tune in to World News with Charles Gibson tonight to see Brian Ross on the Money Trail from Minneapolis.

Once known as "the hammer" for his hardball tactics on Capitol Hill, the featured entertainment at DeLay's party was the band Smash Mouth.

Asked his reaction to DeLay's appearance in Minneapolis, Cong. John Mica (R-FL) declined to answer and then head-butted the ABC camera.

I can't express how much i love all this shit coming out and swirling. McCain is due to explode, Cindy's face was as tight as a pole dancer's ass when he introduced Sarah on Friday. The whole fucking party is nuts. Delay actually beleives the party will welcome is sorry ass back into the fold.

i think tonite they will form a kick line like the Rocketts behind Sarah. It will be made up by Delay, Ralph Reed, Foley, Vitter, Larry Craig, Dennis Hastert, Frederick from Hollywood Thompson, Duke Cunningham, Dusty Fogoo, Alberto Gonzalez, Harriet Miers, Colon Powell (wearing an enema bag), Donald Rumsfeld, John Ashworth. The finale will be Joe Lieberman tonguing them all to climax. The joy, the pomp, the circumstance. Wow!!!!!

Just heard some delegate say on MSNBC that Palin is so qualified because she is a hockey mom. I ONLY have 4 children but I've been a soocer mom, a lacrosse mom, a softball mom, a basketball mom, a field hockey mom, a volleyball mom. Sounds like I'm way over qualified to be vice - pres, maybe even over qualified to be pres!

What kind of a slapshot does she have and can she drop the gloves? (or does she play like a Swede?).
  • lynchie · 1 year ago
She plays like Borje Salming. As Don Cherry said on Hockey Night in Canada. He went into the corner with an egg in his pocket and came out with it unbroken. In the end he had no game

Associated Press is reporting that Sarah says that not only is the Iraq war "a task from God," but that it is God's will that a natural gas pipeline be built from the North Slope of Alaska. I miss the days when people who heard disembodied voices were institutionalized.

Don't worry...Team McCain won't let her out of the padded prep room...
  • lynchie · 1 year ago
God talks to Georgie Porgie all the time. the whole party should be put either in leg irons or padded rooms. Kind of like first class or coach.,

Rachel Maddow (now there is someone who is qualified to be President - Rhodes Scholar etc) just had Matt Taibbi on her show and he was bemused about how Repug politics is, as Rachel says, so post rational. Stuff that should be a disaster, can be spun to be an advantage, because, as Matt said, you can never underestimate the intelligence of the American people. Looks like the Repug strategy of knee-capping the public education system is paying off.

I'm starting to think if it wasn't for Palin, McCain might be ahead. I think 40-50+ years ago, before the born-agains rose up, we were a much smarter people (before computers). Pretty sad.
