The Wall Street Journal??? The world is coming to an end.

Why is the #1 story on cnn right now: "Biden, Obama votes kept 'Bridge to Nowhere' alive"???
First of all, shouldn't McCain's connections to wallstreet be a bigger story (or at least a story), and second of all, isn't the issue with the bridge more the fact that Palin walked around lying about it for 2 weeks, the lying and the hypocrisy, not so much the actual support of the project?
sigh

yep, and to be fair, let's talk to neo-libs rubin, summers, and clinton about how they trashed glass-steagal, and convinced 2/3s of dems to get on board for the first time in 20yrs of resisting reich-wing efforts and why they did it.

Chalk up another exaggeration/lie by Sarah. Newsweek says that her much-touted natural gas pipeline from Prudhoe Bay through Canada to the lower 48 may never get built. The geniuses who planned the pipeline's route overlooked the fact that Canadian native tribes own some of the land. The tribes weren't consulted about the pipeline, they don't want it built on their land, and they'll sue to stop it if they have to. So much for Sarah's energy expertise.

Her expertise is energy, not law or sovereignty. How much harder can those tribes be to deal with than the "Arctic Arabs" she's been keeping in line for the last 18 months?

Do they mean that to be *complimentary* to McPOW?

Yes, let's drag them all before a commission. Then, indictment, fair trial, establish guilt, announce sentence, give them a blindfold and a cigarette and stand them against a wall to await justice. They should be held fully accountable for their actions in regards to bankrupting the United States and the destruction of our financial institutions. All of their goods and property should be confiscated, sold to the highest bidder, and the money returned to the United States Treasury.
IMHO, of course.

So Mr. McS(h)ame wants a commission similar to the 9/11 commission to find out what went wrong (Quick answer: Uncontrolled greedy fuckers behaved like uncontrolled greedy fuckers).
Can we assume he will act on this new commission's findings as expeditiously as W acted on the 9/11 commission's findings?
