Interesting, but very sad article. Just read another one the other day about the "disappearing" great migrations of ungulates (or hooved) African animals. Seems the big migrations of such animals as wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and the many other larger migratory flocks of hooved animals across the great African plains is also becoming a thing of the past.

What does this all mean? I fear it doesn't bode well for the overall health of the planet and life as we currently know it.
