AMERICAblog: Zimbabwe vote-rigging video smuggled out of country

OT comment by your favourite troll:

I'm here in the U.K. now, checking out the libs over here. So far, the jury's out on the NHS, but I promise you, as I did before, that I'd make an objective study and determine myself who's spinning this issue back there in the U.S. I do see, however, where you American libs are getting your nanny-state mentality.

    btw, what happened to Haloscan?

It saddens me to hear that the U.K. is also suffering from corporate nanny-state syndrome. When Democrats take control of the White house in 2009, our long neocon nanny-state nightmare will be over. Thanks for the report, UKkeef, your objectivity is astounding.

    neocon nanny-state? ROFLMAO

Clay, it is your kind who prop up such dictators. Jimmuh Carter, anyonne?
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
Wow, you're the first brit I've ever seen online who's a neocon. You must feel like rare and exoctic bird amongst us liberal Americans on this blog. Like a Dodo Bird.

Oh, and to save you the embarassment of correcting a misspelled word, the comments dissappear to the right while writing.

It is said that imitation is the highest form of flattery. Two bit dictators around the globe are recreating the Republican recipe for ruinous rule. Compassionate conservatives must be proud.

Why South Africa's Mbeki won't rein in Mugabe????
Even in Africa, pressure is mounting for Thabo Mbeki to increase pressure on Zimbabwe's president.

For those interested, here's a decent read on events leading up to the current crisis in Zimbabwe and better understanding of mad Bob.

South Africa has become a one party state. The ANC is totally corrupt because their is no viable party to keep them in check. Thabo Mbeki should be ashamed. Like it or not he's the leader of the SADC region and he needs to start acting the part.

I thought everyone knew democracy can't exist while the population is staring down the barrel of a gun, so to speak.

The Iraqis fully understand this, I think. They had their moment with Saddam, now with the US military, something McBush doesn't understand, of course, since he's willing to undermine any attempt by the Iraqis to establish their own form of govt--good or bad, it will be theirs, what they feel is right for these times, not what some interloper, like the US, thinks.

The US is acting no less dictatorial in Iraq than Mugabe is in Zimbabwe. No wonder there is no consistent condemnation of Mugabe from the US or the UN.

The poor people of Zimbabwe is suffering under this tyrant. Only the African leaders can hold Mad Mugabe accountable for what has happened.
It looks like the so called freedom fighter has become a ruthless butcher,
and that the democracy he speaks about does not exist in that country.
It is easy for Mugabe to blame the western countries for his failings,
but he cannot explain why his policies have benefited only him, and his thugs, and not his people.

Mbeki has a man crush on Mugabe like the media has a man crush on McCain
